I dropped in at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Court Street this week to browse around.  They have a great many compact discs, including some that are still unopened, in original packaging.  They are heavy on classical music, which makes me think that someone must have donated a very large collection recently, but there is plenty of country, gospel, rock, and miscellaneous material as well. They had them all marked down to $1.00 each.  Some great bargains are to be found there!

Don't really do cds anymore.   I go in there from time to time to see if anyone has donated a vinyl lot.   Sad thing though, they do not protect their vinyl at all.  Its just laying carelessly in a few boxes, some of it laying free of any dust jacket or anything and other things piled on top of it.   Pretty much rendering it useless, even if cheaply priced.
