A VERY good post, and VERY important too!!! Thanks for the info, everyone needs to know this...

Legitimate contractors may cost a little more, but in the long run, it is far less.

Thank you for the tip, Quarrels.... I bought my unit from Allens, and paid an arm and a leg for it, but when it comes time for any repair, it STILLL seems like a huge rip off...

I needed to find somebody to call that is in honest business and not out to rip people off.
C & H heating and cooling in Florence are GOOD People, they have worked on our unit a few times. I personally know the owners and a few of the technicians. Can't tell you about the prices, it has been a while since anythings been fixed. (something will tear up for sure now). They are licensed and insured as well. Most of the techs have been to school for HVAC.
