Was Winnie on target?

Much of what Sir Winston says is true. The secular muslims I've worked with in the 80s were very decent and hard working. They didn't mind hiking a beer and wurst or a glass of wine, no hard liquor.

Its a shame to see secular nations with a muslim majority like Turkey reverting to a non-secular harder line nation.

If Bush's experiment in Iraq works, its worth all the blood and treasury spent. If not, the West is in for a bloody century.
