After you finish reading the article, check a sample of the responses. And be sure to have a look at the fella with the Cigar who wants to be an intern.

I too am human, with emotions that sometimes bubble out. Not to worry, I wont clutter YOUR HOLY posts anymore with mindless dribble.
I had no intention of "flaring the anger inside" you.
But I will admit to being angered by the mindless insult aimed at Ms Clinton. You have every right to be angry with her, but I really think the next election is too important to decide solely on the basis of anger. We have a nation to protect and serve, unless we are willing to give our liberties over to an elite gang of liars and thieves we will protect and serve that nation, and make it an accepted and welcome addition to the Community of Nations on this Earth. Like it or not, we are not invincible. We are, in fact, dependent on the good graces of the rest of the world. We might be able to exist isolated by international sanctions, but the probability is that if they are imposed we will exist in poverty and desperation, or start the final conflict.
This nation has the ability to destroy the whole world, including ourselves. IF THAT IS THE PLAN, I WANT NO PART OF IT.
Ed,
Which is it? If the US decided tomorrow to turn into isolationist and have nothing else to do with the rest of the world (no longer be the worlds police man) you would say we don't do enough. I the US continues it's current course of fight islamofacists and trying to help other nations in the world to be a better place you say we do too much. Which is it? This great nation does more good throughtout the world than any other country has and I get so tired of hearing people tear it down.

You don't get the picture. It will not be the US that turns Isolationist. It will be the world that Isolates the US. About the only reason we are not already under sanctions is the raw power of our nuclear arsenal, and the Veto in the UN security Council. WE ARE ALREADY UNDER SELF IMPOSED SANCTIONS. Iranian Oil is ILLEGAL in the USA. Cuban Cigars and Doctors are Illegal In the USA. We are moving toward a boycott of Venezuelan Crude and Refined Petroleum, but stepping lightly because WE NEED THAT STUFF.
Since the Day after the 2004 election China has been negotiating trade agreements in every part of the world EXCEPT the USA. China now has timber oil and aluminum agreements with Canada. They have an oil agreement with Iran, they have made trade and defense agreements with Vietnam. They have negotiated trade agreements with Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Cuba and Panama. China is overhauling the locks on the Panama canal to allow supertankers to pass. They are in control of all the cargo movement through the Panama Canal. They are provoking the USA with bellicose diplomacy about Taiwan.

Russia has formed mutual defense and trade pacts with Turkey, Iran, Syria, probably Lebanon, and renegotiated Gas and Oil agreements with Europe and Ukrain. Just completed, a major oil pipline across Turkey that lessens the need for Black Sea Oil terminals to move Caspian and Siberian Oil products to Europe. And, they put Europe on notice that they could and would cut off energy supplies. AND THEY DID IT IN MID WINTER.

South American governments are turning more socialist, and more anti American every Day.
Bush generates riots in EVERY South American Capital he visits.

If you think we are "safe" you're living in a dreamworld of the PNAC/AEI's making.

Kinda hard to read an article when:

a. British Airways ad makes the site difficult to navigate

b. you have to "log in" to get in....If a site makes me join it, ala LA Times, AJC, etc. I have no desire to even waste my time.

And you think Bush supporters like him being called a Fascist, Hitler, a monkey? Politics isn't for sensitive people and its probably one of the reasons we never have any good people to choose from.

well I am glad you feel safe, I don't think I have ever felt like the world was a safe place to be, it's why I have worn the Uniform, and supported a strong defensive posture for the US. I just find it odd that starting wars makes anyone feel safe. I generally felt safe in South LA, safe enough to sleep parked on the street. I felt safe in Downtown Detroit, at least safe enough to Sleep parked on the street, but to hear people talk I must have been insane. I did this for about 12 years, and never had any trouble, except the night in Detroit the Police woke me up to ask if I had heard gunshots or seen anything suspicious. One of their own had been killed in an alley a block from where I was parked. Maybe it was minding my own business that kept me out of trouble, as if I could expect you folks to believe I mindid my own business.

MAKING WAR IS NO WAY TO CREATE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT.

did you read the article, it was about Hillary, not by Hillary, tell it to Walter Shapiro, he is the author.

YAY Ed... Simply AMAZING that you take the time to actually READ FACTS, instead of picking and choosing words to fit your agenda!!!

Nothing wrong with Hillary, people are just scared of her because she is a strong woman,... most men and weaker women cannot handle that... proven facts!!! I hate to say it, but the more you guys put her down here, the BETTER she looks, because you are so wrong about so many things, that Hillary HAS to be GOOD if she is being put down on this blood-thirsty forum!!! hehehehehe

Give it up, B'man, you might find people on here who just MIGHT agree with some things you say, but most just either pass you by with your insults, or disagree with you and your snide comments.

It only takes HALF a BRAIN to figure out what is going on in the United States of America, and if you think it is a GOOD thing, you are even more brainwashed than I thought!!!!

Show me the proof then. I don't care about her being a woman, if she shared the same political beliefs as I do I would vote for her. She doesn't, she's too much of a socialist. She wants bigger government and more government involvement in our lives. She will not get my vote simply because I think she would be a horrible president, not because she's a woman.

Besides, hearing her butcher a Southern accent was just too much for me. I don't think she'll be the democrats choice.

Yep, insults from you. I am sick of your insults. Then again, those are your thoughts and your thoughts alone. Have a nice life ......I leave it at that.

I have to disagree. First of all, I am not a weaker woman Smiler, and secondly, Hillary's voting record is why I will not vote for her.
On the subject of strong women, Condoleeza Rice is much stronger than Hillary. Love her or hate her, she is the most powerful woman in the world, which drives Democrats crazy. All the party of diversity has been able to muster is an impotent Speaker of the House. Hillary is so weak she relies on Bill to do her fundraising and hold her hand in most situations. Example: the double team those two put on Obama in Selma. He still whooped her judging on the number of people who came to see them speak. If Hillary was truly strong she would have parted ways with Bill after his presidency and set her own agenda. Instead she is playing the "pity" card on America and the "guilt" card on Bill.
Since you "knowitall" care to share what YOU know about this??? I mean REALLY KNOW, not just surmise!!!!

Or are you a post and run person??? Big Grin
[/QUOTE]

I am not a "post and run person". I pick my own battles and am trying hard to not let others (like you and Ed) pick them for me. Also, I mentioned at the start of this forum that I would not post on Ed's crap again, I think I should add your name to the list too. From what I can tell you enjoy having these unarmed battles of wit as much as he does.
As B-Man said.......HAVE A GOOD LIFE!!

Not building a bunker SP, if it gets that bad, I will be out in it. Hoping to last just long enough to keep someone else alive to start over again. I am to old to worry about reaching the other side, and my family is also competent.

I found something Donald Trump said that I finally agree with regarding Rice. "She dosn't make deals. She flys around the world , waves when she gets off the plane, sits with world leaders and has picture taken, then gets back on the plane and goes somewhere else to do the same, but she dosn't get the deal done" (may have paraphrased some of that).
She may be popular, but I don't think she has done much to improve the standing of the United States in the world. MOst of the people in the world hate us for our war in Iraq. The Brits, the Germans, the French, and most of the rest of the western world. She dosn't seem to be helping, I hope it is not a lost cause yet.
