I can't believe people are having so much trouble paying there house payments and loans with the fine Republican President and Governor that we have. Shame on you if you believe the economy is so great and everyone is working making big money, Which they are because they love paying you $5.50 an hour 20 hours a week and would be glad to pay you $2.25 an hour and work you till your nose bleeds, Thats not to raise the wage, that is to lower it where they can give the Mexicans a big raise, But most of them that come over not being legal wih there drugs would not want to take a cut in pay and change there life style. I can't believe the Times Daily would even put an article like that in the Rag that they call a news paper.

Chop,

Most persons working at minimum wage are new entrants and do not stay at that level, with the exception of students, who do not remain students forever.

Such persons would not be eligible for home loans. Defaulted home loans are the responsibilty of persons taking out loans they couldn't afford and mortgage companies granting loans to persons who shouldn't get loans. Both entities are now suffering for their bad judgment. It is individual responsibility, not Government's responsibility. Do you really wish the state to lead you around like a child or a dog?

Both parties share responsibility for not controlling illegal entries -- a solvable problem despite protestations otherwise.

Please apply a bit of logic in the future, not this inchoate posting. Albeit, logic is no longer taught in many school.

Sassy Kim, I would like an explanation of why this comment of yours is in the Political Forum. I am not an administrator on this site, but you seem to have started a campaign to get political comments put in the Political Forum that are IN THE POLITICAL FORUM. It may not be in my best interest to point this out, since the comments make you look like a total IDIOT. I don't mind you making yourself look like a total idiot, but I should think that you would want to avoid that at any cost..

In reference to people having trouble paying mortgages, this article appeared in Times Daily.

Since you are unable to figure it out for yourself, I'll be glad to explain...I'll type slowly so you can understand...I put a post to THE AUTHOR of the topic attached to the topic, so the author would know that they were posting in the wrong forum. Then I reported it to administration as being in the wrong forum. The administrator moved the topic to the correct forum, and my post was moved as well.

And yes, if I see political posting other than on the political forum, I report them. Some of the posting members here seem to want to bash EVERYBODY over the head with their political views...and not everybody wants to read 35 out of 50 posts per page expounding on why GWB is a bad president. Some of us want to read something else...evident by the lack of replies in the political forum.

Understand now?

As far as you thinking I look like an idiot, "You can't know how little I care".

No, you don't, ie: In news, the thread on arbitration. That is not in reference to any current event, and it is in reference to legislation that involves Arbitration and Binding Arbitration, in fact the link posted by the author connects to a legal definition and explanation of Arbitration. YOU are participating in that thread, and it is in the News Forum, and in MY opinion it belongs in miscellaneous or politics.

I think I understand what you are saying, and if I do, I know I agree with you.

Illegal immigrants are afforded NO LEGAL protection in the job market. They cannot even complain about abusive employment practices, lest they be deported. They cannot enforce an employment agreement even to the extent of being paid their wages when due, lest they be deported. They are consistently exploited, sometimes to death. Under paid, Over Worked, put at risk of their lives without proper protective equipment, and they compete with legal residents for those high risk low skill jobs. They win the competition because the employer is exempt from providing protections to them. THEY ARE ILLEGALS. When they are hired by company X, company Y cannot compete for contracts with X because labor and protective gear are higher costs for the legal employer than the illegal employer.
This drives down wages overall, and reduces purchasing power overall, and slows business operations overall, and RESULTS IN FINANCIAL WOES FOR EVERYONE, EXCEPT THE EMPLOYER.
