All of the apostles were insulted by the enemies of the Master. They were

called to seal their doctrines with their blood and nobly did they bear the trial.

Matthew suffered martyrdom by being slain with a  sword at a distant city of Ethiopia.

Mark expired at Alexandria, after being cruelly  dragged through the streets of that city.

Luke was hanged upon an olive tree in the classic  land of Greece.

John was put in a caldron of boiling oil, but escaped  death in a miraculous manner, and was afterward banished to Patmos.

Peter was crucified at Rome with his head downward.

James, the Greater, was beheaded at Jerusalem.

James, the Less, was thrown from a lofty pinnacle of  the temple, and then beaten to death with a fuller's club.

Bartholomew was flayed alive.

Andrew was bound to a cross, whence he preached to  his persecutors until he died.

Thomas was run through the body with a lance at  Coromandel in the East Indies.

Jude was shot to death with arrows.

Matthias was first stoned and then beheaded.

Barnabas of the Gentiles was stoned to death at  Salonica.

Paul, after various tortures and persecutions, was at  length beheaded at Rome by the Emperor Nero.

Such was the fate of the apostles, according to traditional statement.

Fox's Book of Martyrs gives a better account.

Do you know what a Fullers Club was? I served in Korea in the Army, when those

women washed their Clothes they would go down to a Stream where there was a big Rock and they would wet the Clothes and then they would beat them with a Club, and after several beatings they were clean, so I think a Fullers Club was a Club that they beat their Laundry with and maybe a person that took in washing was called a Fuller ion Bible times.

Well I'll take Paul off the list, he was never an Apostle but he did murder

his share of Christians while riding his big fat horse. Got anymore changes

to be made while I'm at it..?? In your stupidity, do you believe everyone is

as ignorant as you with the list of Apostles..??

You talk about IGNORANCE!!  Who's showingIGNORANCE? Talk about STUPIDITY!! Who's STUPID?

In the initial verses of the first chapters of the books of Romans, I Corinthians 2 Corinthians,Galatians, Ephesians,Colossians, I Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus, Paul explicitly  -identifies himself as an "apostle."

You calling Paul a liar?

Since you are about as dense as a black hole, let me explain the obvious to you:

YOU say Paul was not an apostle.

PAUL himself repeatedly made  the claim that he was an apostle.

Thus, when you ASSert that Paul was no apostle, you are in effect declaring him to be a liar.

---------I'm sure Vic was sarcastically responding to the above post.

I also remember Vic in the passed has classified Paul as an Apostle

on more than one occasion. It appears to me you butt faced into a

conversation that had nothing to do with you, so you did your

automatic panic leap off the deep end without understanding the

 flow of thought.

All 12 Apostles
Matthew 10:2-4

(Holman Christian Standard Bible)
These are the names of the 12 apostles: First, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.

Paul (Also called Saul of Tarsus) was not of the 12 Apostles but was told to preach the gospel.
