Not so much the "family" as it is ambulance-chasing lawyer driven who happens to be a state legislator.  You know, the ones who pass laws regarding student misbehavior as a criminal offense.

Having said that, given comments made by the teacher and vice principal present, and the support of the students including one who video'd  the event, the FBI who is conducting a civil rights violation investigation is facing an uphill battle to prove that is was.

And.  If they fail to prove it, the former deputy may have grounds to sue his former employer for wrongful termination.  Yes, the deputy worked at the pleasure of the sheriff, but that isn't the reason the sheriff gave for termination.

Believe  me when I tell you if a big guy like Fields used excessive force, the student would have had more than a rug burn.

Like the case they're arguing in Madison County.

Compare the MSM coverage of that event to the coverage the MSM gave to the student protest.

It would be nice if his supporters showed up to counter-protest.

Well, there was sufficient coverage for you to find it without any trouble.

However, you could not.
