I like the ignore list

themax... once again, I AGREE!!! That is what I am going to have to do also, just TOO much, TOO often, and TOO many different angles and stories. I like people to be honest as to who THEY are, not create a bunch of posts that THEY dont even agree with just to cause problems... IGNORE is great, lol

I would also like to add that it is WORKING, as long as posts are being argued and replied to, the good posts slips away, and that part of our 'history' is gone. NO MORE REPLIES for me, I won't help keep them on top...

Anything to get people to stop falling into the trap of anger so they feel like they have to answer... Like "I" did a few times!! lol

themax, I have no problem with you ignoring me, or no one else as far as that goes. First of all, this message board is freedom of speech, or supposedly. So, challange me any way you wish because I will stay right with you. You have not been able to reply to any of my posts as far as debate. That's why we post is to get a debate, a discussion going on pertaining to the post. But instead, you try to find ways to discredit the post and accusing me of not crediting the author, which I thought I did because the links were there and anybody in this forum can see that. I will not get on your level to name calling. People like you try to bring the worse out of people and I have noticed that you have been able to accomplish that with some people. Yeah Right, Your are about as sick as some in here yourself. If themax is not a right wing conservative and he votes democrat in the south, I would label him as a far right democrat. Most people don't understand the difference that democrats in the south pretty much go along with the republicans. They are into the religious thing but themax did surprise me on Israel. I like his stand on Israel. I have to agree with that. But if he's an open-minded person, he would understand my posts. Most open-minded people understand my posts. I would like to know if you disagree with my posts or is it that I've put too many of them up? I mean you are coming down on me but take a look at what you've posted to me. I don't use the ignore list, it makes it hard to follow a conversation. I just by-pass threads using my own judgement about what I want to read.

I figured out after your first couple of posts that you had liberal views and hated anything conservative or Republican. After your next twenty threads, you just came across to me as someone who scours the internet looking for Bush-bashing material.

In some of your posts you asked people to read them with an "open mind". You give me the impression that only people that agree with you have an "open mind". Anyone who doesn't is a far rightwing conservative that's been brainwashed by the corporate media.

When you post one of your thoughts on a subject, you might get that debate you want. As long as it's just links to Bush-bashing websites, probably not.

You can tell some of these people really live here because of the stories the tell and the local topics they discuss. Its more difficult in the case of a PBA who it seems discusses only national issues.

Yep, Uber and not just local news,I really enjoyed trader's story about his dad's store and the sugar law. And the old time shiners,bootleggers, and Iv'e got a lot about my uncle the Revenu'eer. LOL
