A great game for sure.  Rare is the football game in which both teams have the opportunity to

win with only one second remaining.  Some will say the end was freakish, but hey, who wants  a one-sided boring  Iron Bowl?  This one sure beat those games where the outcome was settled with significant time left and fans began to leave to get a head start on the traffic.

If you want to be the man, you've got to beat the man.  Congratulations to Bama for representing their University and the State of Alabama for 13 weeks as #1. Not to mention for two years as NC.

Roll Tide Roll to you guys for a clean game both on and off the field.

WdE...it's good to be back as a "condendah."

And Best, Just wait till next year, huh

PS...yeah I saw we're playing Mizzou for the SEC championship.  Would have preferred to play USCarolina.  Personal rivalries there.  Beyond that, "Whatever bowl" for those who don't go to the big dance.  Were we in the payoffs, we might dance again.

I'm a Bama fan, I rooted and pulled for Bama and I still think overall Bama has the best or second best team in the nation but on this day Auburn did prevail and BEAT Alabama fairly.  Not only did the team beat Alabama but Alabama (happens very fairly) was out coached in the fourth quarter.

Auburn deserves congratulations for they certainly played above their usual game and Alabama's players choked several times under the pressure.  That shouldn't have happened for a National Championship caliber team but it is a human thing and can happen to anyone.  I just hope Auburn has a shot at Florida State and the National Championship gets a chance to stay within the confines of Alabama's state lines.

For all the SEC haters wouldn't it be a miraculous thing if somehow Florida State and Ohio State went down next week and Auburn beats Missouri putting Alabama and Auburn #2 & #1.  There is no way though that College Football would allow another rematch National Championship game between two SEC Teams.   Interesting thought though.

Florida State should win the National Championship game this year but then who knows for sure who they will play.  Given that Ohio State has really played no one until this coming week no one can be sure that Ohio State will be their opponent.

IF Ohio State loses then that would surely be an in for the winner of the SEC Championship game which would be Auburn or Missouri.

Most Improbable, and certainly not likely, would be if somehow Michigan State was to beat Ohio State and even more improbable Duke defeat Florida State somehow then that would leave open the almost impossible scenario of an all SEC National Championship yet again and possibly an Iron Bowl rematch.  Not beyond the realm of possibility but most highly improbable given Florida State's team and performance to this date.  Quite possibly a National Championship without an SEC  team in it this time around.
