To ask god to take someone?

My mom is 89. She is a good Catholic and is a good person, worked hard all of her life, led an honest and moral life. Her mind is going and she now has a rare skin condition. She isn't afraid of death. My dad and all of her friends are gone. We wish that god would take her. Is that wrong?

You need to remember God considers life a gift and only he gives and takes

this gift. It's only natural to wish someone peace with death, but let God do

what he must to fulfill his plan for this person. It was very hard for me not

wish certain family members to die knowing they wouldn't suffer any longer.

But it's not up to me. I wouldn't call it a sin, a act of human kindness maybe.

But still, let it ride, I believe there's a reason.
