Christians should act like christians. If they do not then they have strayed from GOD. GOD teaches that even after you have been saved you must still live the christian life. That does not mean that we as christians will not stray every now and then. This is where the power of forgiveness comes and the grace of GOD comes in.
Faith without works is dead.

Anyone can and most return to the path of sin like a dog returns to its vomit. God knows that. That is why we have an "out," namely, our repenting, which consists of two parts: first, our admitting our sins publicly and turning from them, asking God to forgive us, and then, next, actually trying to act as Our Lord wishes for us to act and not set ourselves up as above God.

Lastly, why limit our ability to understand our sins and to repent of them only to an earthly body? We have no concept in Holy Scripture on how our souls continue to amend in death before resurrection, or if we are just frozen until we get judged, it is most sketchy and full of contradictions at time, from the annihiliation of the soul or even denial of a soul of primitive Judaism and the Saducees to the more advanced soul-ology introduced by the Persians in Babylon, i.e., the Pharissee's view, which is the view of modern Judaism and most of Christendom as well as Islam.

Please allow me to tell you something you may have never considered before. I do not mean this to be holier than thou or judgmental. I'm sure you mean well & have just never thought of it this way.

With all due respect, the two posts above are in direct conflict. You are far from the only Christian to make such comments (first post above), but I truly believe that such comments wound the heart of God. You are making light of the possibility of this woman (or man?) spending eternity in hell. Comments like this drive people further from God. Comments like these written on church signs do the same.

We must think of who we represent and represent him well. It's God's will that all would be saved. The choice is up to them, but he loves them & would never make light of an eternity spent in hell.

I hope I didn't just really tick you off Smiler and pray you know I'm talking sister to sister or sister to brother, whichever the case may be.
