I find it most encouraging that they had to travel over 1000 miles to initiate their attack.  If this was in fact ISIS related does this indicate that they did not have any local operatives in the Dallas area?  I would be more likely to suspect that it was not directly ISIS related and that they are just glomming on to this situation for whatever reason.  Someone mentioned the Boston trials and the FBI protection of the defendant's relatives.  I would suspect that the information gathered by the FBI "protectors" may be worth the insult of protecting the slimeball's relatives.

Not really. It could be to look just like you supposed, make one think there is no need to search locally, they weren't local. I doubt you could find a place in the US where there aren't many more waiting and wanting to do the very same thing.

I don't know what information they could get, the family denies he did it, even to the point, I think now, that he was set up by the government, even though at first they were  blaming the older one for corrupting the younger one. I still don't agree with paying for their protection, and most likely taxpayers paid to bring them here too. That's just wrong.

What "happened in Texas" is something that at its core involves the very risky and ill-considered exercise of First Amendment rights by a bunch of stupid Texans who failed to reckon with the danger they created for themselves and others in their undisciplined exercise of those rights. That undeniable fact, bf, is at the very heart of this matter and any defense of or rationalization of the actions of those Texans is ill-considered, given the facts in this case.  They apparently never considered that they were creating a venue where curious and innocent exhibit visitors and bystanders could have been murdered by jihadist gunmen.  Fortunately those gunmen were stopped before that happened, but it well could have and the sponsors of that provocative exhibit would have had to live with that for the rest of their lives if it had.

==================================

Why shouldn't a US citizen be able to go to Dearborn MI and walk around the streets with the T-shirt and not be bothered? If they don't like it, they can get the **** out of the country. They sure walk around in their garb unchallenged.

Stupid is arguing that people have to adjust their lives to suit freaking immigrants. Since there is a danger they will kill people because they think they are being insulted, deport them and stop allowing them into the country.  Instead of US citizens being afraid and having to change their way of life, let the immigrants assimilate or get out or don't come here to begin with. Then they can deal with the home grown terrorists.

"Those gunmen," as you describe them were terrorist.  CNN is reporting ISIS is claiming the hit.

Texans are no more at fault than the Twin Towers, Fort Hood, Boston or the woman who was decapitated by a co-worker.

You don't get it, "Condendah."  You can't placate them by modifying our constitution.  ISIS enjoys killing all others.  They do not discriminate between religions nor nationality nor ethnicity.  They could not care less about our Constitution or the rights guaranteed by it.

You don't have to go to them in Dearborn or anywhere else.  They will come to you.  And for no other reason than you are an American, they will cut your head plum off while your family watches.

Ah, yes. I distinctly recall all the intentionally provocative and insulting  things that were calculatedly done at the towers, Fort Hood, Boston, etc. that encouraged the acts of terrorism associated with those situations.

I am sure you remember them also.  Perhaps you could list a few here.

Just walk down those streets with a Star of David sweat shirt and a yarmulke.

Further proof that the moderate liberal Democrats of my youth are no more -- many of them were soldiers and had guts.  If, there were only the variant of liberal we have now, stores would have two water fountains and four bathrooms -- segregation would still be the rule. Just imagine, JFK, saying that the civil rights bill should not be passed because violent elements like the Klan and White Citizens Councils might retaliate with violence.

Now, what does a man that has been dead for almost 50 years have to do with the subject at hand?

Norman Thomas, the KKK and Lindbergh frequently appeared together in America First gatherings during the late 1930s and early 1940s in an attempt to keep the US neutral in the oncoming war. Lindbergh, at least, was spying on the Germans for FDR. one may go to USC and retrieve the newsreels from that era.

As to why I brought Thomas up, even the most useless may serve as a bad example.

Jt,

I simply used the tool of reductio ad absurdum to make a point.  Reactions from the leftie faction vary from jumping up on chair and screaming "eak", to questions about my health to "duh!"

My, my, you have achieved a new personal record for distortion, Worstthinking, and given your history of such, that is truly an amazing accomplishment.  Your way with "logic" is analogous to those old curvy carnival mirrors that twisted and torqued images wildly and laughably out of shape.

From Wiki:  Reductio ad absurdum (Latin: "reduction to absurdity"; pl.: reductiones ad absurdum), also known as argumentum ad absurdum (Latin: argument to absurdity), is a common form of argument which seeks to demonstrate that a statement is true by showing that a false, untenable, or absurd result follows from either its denial or acceptance.[1] First recognized and studied in classical Greek philosophy (the Latin term derives from the Greek "εις άτοπον απαγωγή" or eis atopon apagoge, "reduction to the impossible", for example in Aristotle's Prior Analytics),[1] this technique has been used throughout history in both formal mathematical and philosophical reasoning, as well as informal debate.

You should have told him  Reductio ad absurdum is the Hispanic the left's running against Hillary. (I know, I know, it sounds like an Italian name, but he wouldn't know the difference). His next post would be in support of Reductio, seeing as how he heard Reductio was going to make the rich pay their share, and a Hispanic president would **** off the right.
