Well that's just silly. We showed last night a revolution could come at the ballot box. We need to take this country back and the first step is term limits!

I couldn't agree more. Career politicians have played a big part in the down slide of our country. The two party system isn't good either.

More parties are not the answer. Italy has had 13 people running for President, in the past. You are right about needing choice, not to just settle. We knew only what Obama's front men wanted us to know. If you didn't dig deeper, like some of us did, you just thought him a wonderful candidate. Hate for Bush, put this man into the White House. Not his experience. Maybe WE need to demand more quality in our leaders. Not quantity of their BS.

It hasn't done us much good because...can you really call it a two party system when they both push basically the same agenda?

Regardless of Democrats or Republicans...the details of the answer may differ slightly, but it adds up to the same thing...More, Bigger, Stronger, Federal power...

A strong third party would be nice.

Another party will just make things worse. It will be like adding another regulator to oversee the banking industry. Another person or party will get richer and look the other way. Until the lobbyists and special-interest groups are squashed it won't matter how many parties there are.

Parties are the problem. We need people who are not blindly loyal to a label.

Whether a third party is the answer or not I don't know. What I do know is we need a system where regular hard working Americans can be elected to office instead of career politicians. Unless you're rich and have one of the 2 parties backing you don't have a chance and that is a problem.

In a perfect world, elected officials would work in the best interests of the country and the people, not for their own agendas. **sigh** Unfortunately, this is not a perfect world.

Well said. We talk about the Iraqi, Afghan, and other governments being corrupt and they are but ours is pretty corrupt as well.

Liberalism, progressiveism and socialism are the problems with America. FROM BOTH PARTIES!
