Well, didn't all you lefties claim obamma was gonna fix it? Funny how the economy was good and folks had jobs before the democrats got into office, but obamma fixed that, he fixed it til it was broke that is. And, haven't you all been claiming how we're just swimming in jobs? Make up your minds, try to find one lie you tell that you like well enough to stick to.

They have to leave to go pick up their medical marijuana.
BO's been in office all these years and the poor are even poorer. When he said "change", he really meant all the change you can find in your sofa.

Enlighten us Jim, where do consumers get money to spend in order for jobs to be created? Which comes first, the job or the money? Can't wait to hear your response.
It's hard to find disposable income when the federal goobermint has found ways to dispose of people's money by regulation and fiat.
The desire to put coal miners on welfare definitely disposed of their income while at the same time disposes of my greenbacks via the cost of "green" energy.
The desire to ship the U.S.'s smokestacks to China in the 90s' for lesser paying "information economy" jobs disposed of many people's income.
The desire to control the healthcare industry has put many former full-time employees on part-time schedules while at the same time raising insurance rates and deductibles for others has disposed of many families income.
JT, yes you're mostly correct on consumer spending, but you need to think about why consumer spending hasn't created the usual post recession boom.
The last 6 years has shown us all who DOESN'T create jobs!
The ones at the top where the majority of the money is going to sent the jobs overseas instead of keeping them here. I can't wait to hear the deflections you all will post to justify this.
Don't try to blame Obama care or any of your other pet excuses, it's pure greed.

______________
how do you have a sane dialogue with anyone who can make statements, like the one above? in what freakin world was the 'economy good and folks had jobs' while bush was in office? this is another topic where one can witness, first hand, the complete loss of contact with reality, by the rt. wingnuts.
Actually. it's just as accurate as her other posts.

Talk to bubba clinton. At least it's a tiny bit refreshing to see one of you admit the left is lying about the jobs. Not that we didn't know that already.

You bet pure greed and pure crony capitalism plus the need for control are behind all this. The Chinese deal came about because Bubba Clinton needed campaign bucks and the folks who slept over at the White House B&B paid well and the good Buddhists filled up satchels of Buddhist bucks from China for bagman Al Gore.

You betcha! The laws that created the housing bust came from his era, that dumb slob Bush got all the blame even though he never had the votes to amend the laws. His administration did get called racist for trying though.
From NY Times - September 11, 2003
The Bush administration today recommended the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago.
Under the plan, disclosed at a Congressional hearing today, a new agency would be created within the Treasury Department to assume supervision of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government-sponsored companies that are the two largest players in the mortgage lending industry.
The new agency would have the authority, which now rests with Congress, to set one of the two capital-reserve requirements for the companies. It would exercise authority over any new lines of business. And it would determine whether the two are adequately managing the risks of their ballooning portfolios.
The plan is an acknowledgment by the administration that oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — which together have issued more than $1.5 trillion in outstanding debt — is broken. A report by outside investigators in July concluded that Freddie Mac manipulated its accounting to mislead investors, and critics have said Fannie Mae does not adequately hedge against rising interest rates.
”These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis,” said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ‘‘The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.”
Representative Melvin L. Watt, Democrat of North Carolina, agreed.
”I don’t see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing,” Mr. Watt said.
So, instead, they weakened EVERYONE’s buying power. I guess that’s what makes it fair. I’m sure glad they’re looking out for all of us.
our biggest challenge is 80% of business is the service industry.
we all know the service industry doesn't pay. and of course welfare is the second
biggest industry. third is the govt. (local, state and fed.) which is in the business of
robbing the private sector of their money. thus the tea party being born. did anyone see the
article on line that the number of billionaires doubled in the last 6 years? vote them all out
God bless America
the tea party was born out of the imagination of the koch brothers... lets not confuse facts.
lol about the Koch brothers, both sides have their big money donators.
if you figure percentage of welfare, illegals , govt employees and union members the democrats have plenty to out vote anyone else. call it what you want we are being taxed to much.
Those who are against the tea party are the same ones who only take and contribute nothing. Those who desire higher taxes are the ones who benefit from those paying high taxes.

I'm not a fascist, so it's my take that it's their money so let them spend as they like as long as it's reported. It's good to know each sides cronies to follow the graft.
You always act like you know all about the rich and what they do, so why would you ask this question?
I was foolish enough to think I might get an answer. Silly me.

Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour
Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour is a Muslim lawyer and a black nationalist who made news in 2008 when it wasrevealed that he had been a patron of Barack Obama and had recommended the latter for admission to Harvard LawSchool in 1988.
Before becoming a Muslim, al-Mansour in the 1960s was named Don Warden. He was deeply involved in San Francisco Bay Area racial politics as founder of a group called the African American Association. A close personal adviser to Huey Newton and Bobby Seale, al-Mansour helped the pair establish the Black Panther Party but later broke with them when they entered coalitions with white radical groups.
In the mid-1970s al-Mansour met Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Tatal, who today is best known for having offered a $10 million donation toward 9/11 relief efforts in 2001 -- an offer that was rejected by New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani when the prince suggested that the terrorist attacks were an indication that America "should re-examine its policies in the Middle East and adopt a more balanced stand toward the Palestinian cause." Al-Mansour's relationship with the prince eventually led to al-Mansour's hiring as attorney to King Saud. He has since been an adviser to Saudi billionaires who fund the spread of Wahhabi extremism in America.
Al-Mansour is an outspoken hater of the United States, Israel, and white people generally. In recent years he has accused the U.S. of plotting a "genocide" designed "to remove 15 million black people, considered disposable, of no relevance, value or benefit to the American society." He has told fellow blacks that "whatever you do to [white people], they deserve it, God wants you to do it and that's when you cut out the nose, cut out the ears, take flesh out of their body, don't worry because God wants you to do it." Alleging further that Palestinians in Israel "are being brutalized like savages," he accuses the Jews of "stealing the land the same way the Christians stole the land from the Indians in America."

My answer is not 'your guy does too'. My question is, why are you upset with others when your party does the same and worse? Why, if you don't like the behavior, don't you call for it to stop in your party? And it amazes me the things the left finds wrong with people on the right that amount to nothing in the scheme of things, trying desperately to make them more than they are. Look how obsessed they are with Palin, who means nothing at all in the political circle, and all the while ignoring other very dangerous and hurtful things being done to the country by politicians on the left. It's the same with your obsession with the rich. Koch brothers bad, yet you have NO opinion of soros and other rich people that are buying the democratic politicians and our country. Asking why one is OK and the other bad is a valid question, and not 'so's yer old man'.
