Recently, Condie was chortling about the imminent demise of FM radio conservative voices like Rush Limbaugh and similar.  I pointed out that the demographics -- older people like my father, who listened to Rush were decreasing. As the audience decreases, so does what the stations may charge for their broadcasts.  Lefties attempted to enter the FM market without success.  They had the personality of a buzzard in mourning, although without the dripping sentimentalities. The Democrats attempted to use the power of government to shut down the conservatives.  Typical left wing knee jerk reaction -- when all else fails, use the power of government to get their way.

I pointed that conservatives, as well as liberals, were moving to the internet where the growing younger demographics dwell.

Turns out the left is no more effective on the internet than on FM radio.

Even the New Republic, first of the progressive mags, is in serious trouble.

Part of this is due to the extreme left wing nonsense they espouse and part by the drop off in popularity of social media.

Facebook is facing a similar fate.  Reportedly thousands of the accounts are fake.  Be interesting to see how many and why. Facebook can charge more to advertisers if they have a large audience.
