This one really made me want to puke. A group of people can find racism anywhere! It must be awful to live your life looking for slights, and when you can't find them, grabbing them out of thin air. First of all, I watch the show. Secondly, the woman ana that they are talking about is a nut job, and should have been gone first. None of the other contestants could stand her, and they let her know, especially the black guy. Wonder why he wasn't accused of racism? The remark she made about Treygay was about who would watch her, and she did not mean blacks, she meant "AIRHEADS". Funny too, since that is what ana is. All ana could talk about was being Cuban, and she mentioned it a dozen times a show, and apparently was upset if asked to cook anything other than Cuban food. It got old, we got it, you're Cuban, shut up already. They claimed she was "Flay's favorite". Not true, he and Giada didn't care for her either, but apparently she could cook.

Anyway, Treygay sees herself as bubbly, witty, and clever, making up silly words, when all she is is SILLY. Sometimes she gets so off the wall with her silliness that I feel embarrassed for her! She can cook, she may win, but unless she can take her silly act down about 5 notches I won't watch her. There is another black contestant I don't like, not because he's black, but because he's labeled himself the "chef of love" and that is all he talks about along with bragging about fathering 9 kids. He went overboard with his "chef of love" crap on one show and made everyone uncomfortable. I thought he was gone then, but he weathered that storm.

There's an Italian,  Damiano, that is pretty good, but his accent is so heavy he's hard to understand if he starts talking fast. He was a contestant on another show before this one. Bobby and Giada told him to slow down, that they couldn't understand him when he talked fast, and the a**wipes went nuts claiming that was racist. Funny, they must not have been watching closely, because the FIRST one to complain and whisper to Flay, she couldn't understand him was the black judge Tia Mowry.  Giada simply adores him and is Italian herself. But the "white" judges caught the heat for it. This is one thing makes me sick of the ones that claim racism everywhere you look. A**wipes that only want to stir the pot keep hatred boiling, and spend their days and nights looking for anything they can complain about. This is why real racism isn't addressed. People are tired of hearing the accusation and finding that like this one, it's complete BS.

I guess the real question is why do you watch the show?

Why wouldn't I watch the show? I watch FN about 50% of my TV time. There is nothing wrong with their programming. None of that, he's sleeping with her and he's the other one's baby daddy crap, that so many seem to love. I guess you could call the programming, "wholesome". For the most part they are all professional chefs competing, and sometimes amateurs. They also have children competing, and do a lot of shows for charities. They have baking competitions, cake decorating contests, all sorts of things food related. All the ones with their "cooking" shows conduct themselves as professionals, and introduce recipes, how to hints, and have fun doing it. There are plenty of black people on the network too. This one competition is to decide which chef gets their own show on FN, and the finalists are two black people and an Italian. That's why this article disgusts me so, for the haters to try to claim racism in the show.
