Where does Limestone County’s newly elected District Attorney Brian C.T. Jones live?

On campaign records, Jones lists his address as 22349 Cantera Drive in Athens. However, Madison County tax-collector records show Brian C.T. Jones lives at 1503 Mountainbrook Drive S.E. in Huntsville.

WHy does this info come out the day after the election???

Do you personally know where he lives? If not how can you say he was caught lying? If you find you're wrong, will you man up and apoligize? And if the previous DA couldn't find this information what does that say about her?

The address listed on Jones’ campaign records — 22349 Cantera Drive in Athens — is listed as belonging to Jones’ wife, according to Limestone County tax records. The records show Jones’ wife bought the property in 2006 as Kandye H. Jean and she was granted a homestead exemption on that address. She and Jones have since been married.

For Jones to conceivably claim a homestead exemption on the Huntsville property he would have to sleep there at night and, in that case, he would not be considered a Limestone County resident and eligible for election to public office here.
I have nothing to prove, I'm confident the new, reformed, ethics environment of AlObama politics will dictate the outcome of this issue.

I must admit I'm bored at work. We are waiting for our next contract but its being held up in DC, so we have nothing to do but burn up overhead until its signed. You guys are paying me to surf.
Hmmm... so you're saying you work for the government. Well, that explains a lot. You should make sure Barry continues to practice the take-take-take policies so that the government can make more money. I guess that also makes it the give-give-give (policies) since I'm doing all the giving. But, then again, you may need to watch out. If "he" continues to risk NASA and TVA jobs then yours may be somewhere down the line. Just a thought.

btw, if you don't like the politics in Alabama, please FEEL FREE to move westward where they all feel/vote the same as you do.
Well, this ought to be the end of it:

I hope this is the end of this tempest in a teapot. Just a word of advice to the Athens News-Courier and its reporters: Next time, you might try checking things out (like, in this case, driving to Huntsville to see if there was any furniture in this house) or making a little more of an effort to get an opposing statement before running with a planted rumor by a Valls supporter as your front-page story. You guys are looking pretty ridiculous right now.

That is a great precedent for other folks in Madison County. You can claim not paying the correct amount of property tax is just an oversight and not have to pay any penalties, at least for a couple years.
Juan, now that Jone's tax question has been answered, tell us about Charlie Rangel.

"Embattled Rep. Charles Rangel, who is now under more scrutiny for failing to disclose his personal assets, also somehow forgot to pay taxes on two plots of land he has in New Jersey, records show."
