It is not obvious from the initial post you will read at that site, but the site delivers propaganda for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, better known as the Mormons, one of the most far-fetched, heretical, fairy-tale belief systems ever invented by men. Joseph Smith, Brigham Young and their sucessors--the so called "Prophets" of the Mormon Church--developed a religion that is so convoluted and absurd in its theology that it is difficult to see how they have managed to lasso as many converts as they have. For example, Joseph Smith taught that Noah built his ark "in or near Carolina" and a noted Mormon "Apostle," Bruce McConkie, acknowleges that early Mormon "theologians" believed that that the Garden of Eden was located in Jackson, County, Missouri. Brigham Young taught thhat the moon was inhabited by beings who lived up to 1000 years and who dressed in Quaker-like clothes.

Those beliefs pale beside the Mormon teaching that a man can become a god over his own universe and that the God of the Bible once was a man as we are, "but progressed" to the state He now occupies. Wanna be a god? Sign up for the Mormon Church!!

Much, much more could be said about the absurdity of Mormon beliefs and the zany history of their pioneer days, and those who wish to know the truth should get a copy of "The Changing World of Mormonism" by Jerald and Sandra Tanner, two ex-Mormons who have carefully researched and documented the invention and insane progress of the Mormon delusion.
