It's comforting to know that our inexperienced, wishy-washy, hopey, chngey, Socialist-leaning President surrounds himself with intelligent people --- NOT!

Robert Gibbs - White House Press Secretary:

Gibbs: "I think that one only has to step outside here or visit where I used to work in Chicago to understand that climate change, and the record temperature that climate change is likely causing, is with us....I would say that even in places that are used to getting very cold weather, record cold...our weather patterns have been affected by change in our climate"

(Gibbs joined Barack Obama's 2004 U.S. Senate campaign as communications director in mid-April 2004 and remained with the senator through the first two years of Obama's term. Gibbs is credited with guiding Obama through those first years and molding his rise on the national scene. According to the New York Times, Gibbs advised Obama on politics, strategy and messaging, and spent more time with Obama than any other advisor.)

This is explained quite easily, and so simply that it can be understood by even the simplest simpleton.

There will always be local and regional fluctuations in weather and sometimes these will be extreme. The extremes might be either extremes of heat or cold or extreme shortages or excesses of precipitation. These episodic and short-term extremes in weather conditions are not, and should not be interpreted as "climate change," except on the part of those whose disordered concepts of "climate," "climate change" and "global warming" are driven not by scientific factors, but by right wingnut naivete'. In that case, it is appropriate for such self-appointed "experts" to utter bold but nonsensical affirmations about localized and transient weather conditions, thus giving themselves an inflated sense of technical confidence, while simultaneously revealing the depths of their ignorance.

So, we clearly have "wingnut naivete" in the White House today -- showing the "depths of their ignorance.".

Gibbs is no expert in climate change and he was wrong in what he said. But the huge preponderance of scientific experts who agree that we are experiencing climate change are not wrong. I believe in going with experts, and not relying on anyone's press spokespersons.
I just experienced..."Climate Change"
I went from the 68 degree interior of my home...to the "Arctic Blast" outdoors...well, that's what it felt like.
To drag my "County Designated"...100 gallon garbage can 120 feet to the Co. Rd., where, hopefully, if the dogs don't turn it over, and scatter it, it will be emptied in the morn'.
However! I am swiftly warming up once back inside! (rum).
Yes...I live in a "rural" environment.

Earth has been going through climate change since God created it and will continue to go through climate change, nothing man can do to change that.

Amen. When you consider the tropical 'climate' of the dinosaur age, the many recorded mini ice ages, and the fact that CO2 in the atmosphere has varied in concentration for many millenniums regardless of man's intervention; this whole 'global warming' concept is blatantly false and purely driven by politics and greed.
