Attorney General Lynch spent time before Congress testifying today regarding the FBI and Hillary's email situation yet her performance was typical and expected and totally stonewalling. Why did the FBI not recommend indictment and why did Lynch not worry about what she was going to say? Why was the IRS employees not concerned about their targeting Tea Party groups or Conservatives?
The answer is that the Republicans are not going to do anything but scream and holler as spoiled kids not getting their midnight snack. There is and was no concern on any government employees part for their job or their future. They aren't concerned about Jail and they aren't concerned about their abundant wealth or even their jobs because there is no teeth or threat from a Republican congress.
What should have happened is the Republicans never should have taken impeachment off the table with respect to Obama. Attorney General Lynch or the FBI director should have been in a situation where they would fear for their job but there is no fear anymore. There is no accountability in Federal Government and absolutely no risk unless you are a Conservative or a Republican and then the full law and more applies to you. Attorney General Lynch should have been told, after her performance today, that a move was about to impeach her as Attorney General and replace her. No one fears anything anymore because a Republican Congress has no teeth and the Democrats and the Administration KNOW and are ASSURED that the bulk of the Media, print and TV, will be on their side and work with them to cover them and to attempt to affect public opinion.
We are at a time in our Nation where the Constitutional Checks and Balances are or have broken down and in great part, if not totally, the judicial system has also been made of no value for it's anymore a rubber stamp or worse an alternative way to make law.
