Looks like you owe the NRA an apology then.
..as in this case all firing pins were removed rendering the guns as simple clubs.
Smartest thing they could have done - no telling when some liberal acting like a country boy might wander into the show and accidently load a live round into a display gun just to prove a point when it 'accidentally discharges'.

No loaded firearms allowed by any attendees in any gun show I've ever attended.
Safety first.

You must have missed these:

There are quite a few others, but the above are typical of such occurrences.

I'm sure you could give thousands of examples of gun shows that I have missed.
One of your examples was a demonstration of unsafe handling while unloading a firearm prior to entering the gun show.
The other example was of a vendor's mis-use of a firearm.
I stand by my statement "No Loaded Firearms Allowed" by attendees. You are free to dig up as many violations of this request as you wish and please feel free to include examples of violations wherever these signs are posted.
again, simply pointing out that the NRA does not feel safe with its members and loaded guns at the same place.

You left out an important word. "Unecessarily" load guns. If not planning on using the gun in self defense nor for target pratice, why would you want it loaded? In reality, there never was a point to make.
Plus, there is always the possibility of such as old Squirrelly Dawg sneaking in -- wouldn't trust him with a supersoaker in the middle of a desert,

At worst he'd bring a pocket full of clips and jam all the handguns up rendering them useless.
Of all the spaces to be fearful of being robbed, raped, or mugged....I somehow think that an NRA convention would be LOW on the list. So it is probably unnecessary to have to carry a loaded firearm while in the convention.

However, the NRA does allow conceal carry at its conventions. The owner of the building where the convention is taking place does not. Since being proved wrong, countryboy is now stubbornly taking the stance that because the exhibited guns have firing pins removed that means that the NRA does not trust its members, which is absurdly stupid as these guns are NOT being used for self defense nor target practice.
MDA would be proud to have such a mindless constitution hating minion added to its ranks.
tne NRA just wants to collect dues and not get shot while doing it. bottom line. i don't expect you self appointed auxillury police to see this. you don't know an odd shaped brilliant colored taser from a loaded handgun

Those with "supersoakers" should never wear kakis and always wear depends.

Not recalling any armed robberies at gun shows, and maybe I may have missed a couple, I googled "gun show armed robbery."
And like you would suspect ... nada.
But like the TV show Mythbusters, when all else fails, make it happen.

I am to satisfy.

I get it.
You were denied a Concealed Carry License.
Due to mental issues, no less?
Angry?
You don't NEED a gun..."Angry Person".
Should they seize your butter knives as well.

Yet you can. Anyone with a concealed carry permit valid in TN (Alabamas are) could carry at the convention - despite the lies countryboy is telling. They just couldnt carry in one of the concert sites because the property owner at that site bans weapons for all events.
