....Saints. If that sports commentator pronounced it that way ONCE, he did so a hundred times last night..... Roll Eyes

'The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.'

'When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.'

'And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.'

'An elective despotism was not the government we fought for.' - Thomas Jefferson

Depending on who's saying it, New Orleans will be pronounced one of three ways: Nu Or lee uns, Nu Or leens, or Nu Aw lens. I remember Cajun chef Justin Wilson saying "New Or lee awns." He was awesome. Harry Connick, Jr, who was raised there, has pronounced it 2 different ways in some of his songs.

The same goes for "Louisiana." Not too long ago, a couple of people remade Conway and Loretta's "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man." They kept saying "Louisiana" instead of "Lose-iana" and that changed the whole feel of the song for me and not for the good.
