Roland,

Help me here.

I know that certain NP have been closed [and I guess MR included], but what is this picture supposed to represent? Merging lanes? Wet paint? Some sort of traffic control device to be sure, but not "restricted access" far as I can tell.

It looks like they have closed off one of those 'pull off' areas on the side of the road used for 'scenic views' - something that i would not expect the shutdown to affect. I wonder if this is really happening.....

There is what appears to be ice on the approaching side and it does widen out like a pull-off for an overlook.
