Hi to all my Forum Friends,

With all the problems facing Americans today, the economy, unemployment, national security, etc. -- and with millions of Christians worldwide being slaughtered, only because they are Christian -- King Obama's only accomplishments in six years and counting, has been to force ObamaCare down the throats of Americans - AND - to reward millions of "fellow undocumented immigrants" with a "free pass" or a "get out of jail free card" as he, with his mighty pen, declares them free to continue flooding our borders and attacking and killing our Border Agents.

And, of course, liberals will start screaming, "Bill Gray is racist!  He does not like Obama!"

WRONG on the first.   Absolutely RIGHT on the second!

Take a look at what many black American leaders think of King Obama and his latest "stick it to America!" plan:

Black Activists Condemn Obama Amnesty Plan for Illegal Aliens
http://www.conservativeblog.or...-amnesty-agenda.html

Washington, DC - Black activists with the "Project 21" leadership network are continuing to speak out against President Barack Obama’s unilateral action on illegal immigration.

Joe R. Hicks Former executive director of the Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference:

“President Obama strode into the White House promising to give the American people the audacity of hope.  What we are witnessing instead, with his immigration agenda, is an audacious grab for power and an evisceration of the Constitution.  With the stroke of a pen, Obama rewards those who arrogantly mock our border laws while simultaneously telling those hopeful immigrants still waiting patiently to lawfully come to America that they are chumps.  After these five million or so, what then?  The magnet that draws illegal immigrants across the border just got stronger. They will come expecting — no, demanding — to get ‘Obama’s amnesty.’”

Demetrius Minor:  Youth minister and motivational speaker:

“Barack Obama really had the potential to be an iconic president.  It’s a shame he’s now relegated to someone who will be remembered most for - not only dividing a nation, but for circumventing Congress in order to push his personal agenda.

Stacy Washington:  Talk radio host:

“Well, black liberals, sorry — but I have to put you on blast.  Every time this country has pardoned illegal immigrants, crime and black unemployment have gone through the roof.  Don’t believe me?  Check the statistics from Reagan’s congressionally-approved amnesty package.  Not only did more illegal immigrants as were (that were) promised - become legal through the undiscovered intricacies of chain immigration, but the crime rate soared and black unemployment went through the roof.  Sorry again, black liberalsYou just got dumped!”

Charles Butler:  Talk radio host:

“The fact is President Obama will do with the stroke of a pen what 300 years of slavery, Jim Crow, and legal segregation could not: destroy the hopes and dreams of millions of black Americans.  His position on illegal immigration and reform is not tenable given the numerous sources of information that warn of the negative impact of immigration reform on black Americans and low-income Americans.”

Christopher Arps:  Founder of the black social networking web site Move-On-Up.org:

“Mr. President, how do these people ‘get right with the law’ when you have to break the law to allegedly get them right with the law?  This man — a self-professed constitutional scholar — is so brazen that he’s openly violating the Constitution he swore to protect.  And he’s doing so just a few years after he said he didn’t have the authority to do what he just did on immigration.”

Shelby Emmett:  Lawyer and former congressional staff member:

I wish Obama would focus just ten percent of his time on Americans and not illegals.  Since this all about rewarding people who chose to put their kids in a position where they’d be ‘ripped’ from their arms, why isn’t Obama suspending family law as well?  After all, plenty of American parents lose their kids on a daily basis over silly things like breaking the law.”

This year, Project 21 members have been interviewed and published hundreds of times on immigration, including an op-ed the Orlando Sentinel by Project 21’s Joe Hicks.

Project 21, a leading voice of Black Conservatives for over two decades, is sponsored by the National Center for Public Policy Research (http://www.nationalcenter.org).

My Friends, King Obama, in many ways, helped us to defeat the Liberal Socialist Democrats and their RINO bedfellows in the 2014 elections.   And, he is working hard to help us defeat the Liberal Socialist Democrats and their RINO bedfellows in the coming 2016 elections.

Keep all of this in mind when you enter the Voting Booth to VOTE IN 2016!   It is time to dethrone the King and his Liberal Socialist Democratic/RINO regime -- and it is time to Restore America!   VOTE IN 2016!

And, if the Conservative Republicans we elected in 2014, and all incumbents, will do the job we elected them to do -- the Restoration of America will begin this coming January.

If not, put them on your Vote-Out Bucket List!

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Hi Jack,

I agree with you 1000% -- we need to vote out Pelosi and Reid.  And send Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein with them.  Personally I would also like to include Jerry Brown in that package.  I did not like him the first time he was our California Hippie Governor -- and I still feel the same about him.

But, the best the GOP could do in California was to run a guy named Kashkari against Brown -- and last year Kashkari marched in the San Diego Gay Pride Parade.

So, this year for governor -- we had a choice of bad or worse.   I voted for bad -- but worse won.

An asinine proposition. The prosecutorial discretion in the President's plan does NOT extend to future immigrants .  It is only for those who already have been in the country for 5 years. It is not an attractant for more illegal immigration.

Is anyone really surprised that these Obamaphobes don't bother with FACTS?

I suspect that Milton Friedman will ultimately be proven correct, we can either have open borders or we can have a welfare state, but not both. Friedman also said that illegal immigration only works as long as the illegals remain illegal.

http://freestudents.blogspot.c...man-really-said.html

Since we have already allowed temporary partial amnesty, I think we can expect another wave of illegals flooding the border expecting their own amnesty from the emperor. I also know that His Excellency, Lord Obama, has promised that the illegals are not supposed to beneficiaries of the Obama freebie cornucopia, but we were also promised that we could keep our insurance plans and doctors while saving lots of money on health insurance at the same time. While I support the slow unwinding of the welfare system, I don't think loading up the system with displaced workers and new immigrants will allow a slow orderly change. Crash and burn is never good.

<<<The agency said in a statement that it hopes illegal immigrants look at what they are doing in building holding facilities like the 2,400 bed center in Dilley, Texas, and will decide the trip isn’t worth it.

“These facilities help ensure timely and effective removals that comply with our legal and international obligations, while deterring others from taking the dangerous journey and illegally crossing into the United States,” he said.>>>

From the linked "statement",above:

<<<The South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley is the fourth facility the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has used to increase its capacity to detain and expedite the removal of adults with children who illegally crossed the Southwest border. ICE continues to use a newly modified residential center in Karnes City, Texas, and a long-standing facility in Leesport, Pennsylvania, to house adults with children.

"ICE opened the temporary facility in Artesia in June as a critical piece of the government’s response to the unprecedented influx of adults with children at the Southwest border. Since then, the numbers of illegal migrants crossing into south Texas has gone down considerably," said Acting Director Winkowski. Read that. however, ICE hasn't actually performed the deportations en masse, the article refers to.  Will believe it when I see it.

Your generalized and predictably negative critique does not fit the facts of what Brown has accomplished:

<<<Just two years ago, the idea that California could be a global model for anything was laughable. When Brown took office, the state was staggered by double-digit unemployment, a $26 billion deficit and an accumulated "wall of debt" topping $35 billion. California was a punch line for Republican politicos – a cautionary tale, they said, of the fate that awaits the nation should it embrace Left Coast-style economic, social and environmental liberalism. On the campaign trail in 2012, Mitt Romney joked that "America is going to become like Greece, or like Spain, or Italy, or like . . . California."

But in astonishingly short order, America's shrewdest elder statesmen blazed a best-worst way out of California's economic morass. With a stiff cocktail of budget cuts and hard-won new taxes, Brown has not only zeroed out the deficit, he's also begun paying down the debt. "Jerry Brown's leadership is a rebuttal to the failed policies of Republicans in Washington," says Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress. "California is proving you can have sane tax systems, raise revenues, eliminate structural deficits and have economic growth.">>>

California's Budget Is a Monument to One-Party Rule

By Carson Bruno

With a few hours to spare before the June 15th midnight deadline, the California State Legislature passed its Fiscal Year 2014-2015 budget. At $156 billion in general and special fund spending, the budget represents a sharp spending increase buoyed by stronger than expected revenues thanks to two temporary and precarious sources: Proposition 30's $6 billion-a-year tax increase set to expire in Fiscal Year 2018-2019, and a resurgent stock market driving increased capital gains tax revenue.

As always, the spending runs the gamut, including politicians' pet projects like $264 million for former Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg's pre-school expansion, along with programs that actually enjoy broad public support. Here are some of the best and worst highlights.

The Good: California isn't necessarily known for its fiscal restraint, but at times, there are glimmers of hope (for instance, the passage and continued support of Proposition 13). The budget includes provisions related to the revised ACA 4, a "rainy-day" fund plan negotiated by state Republicans and Democrats that will go before voters in November. While this isn't the first attempt at a budget reserve, many are hopeful that this plan will be more successful.

However, "the good" also has "eh" components. The new rainy-day fund's calculations require metrics that currently do not exist, thus complicating the Department of Finance's implementation. In addition, the reserve does nothing to address the underlying causes of California's budget volatility - namely myopic overspending in good times with money from revenue sources that are overly sensitive to economic downturns. Moreover, a last minute trailer bill - policy items attached to the budget - amends the rainy-day fund to cap school district budget reserve levels; a give-away to the teachers' unions that will unnecessarily tie local school administrators' hands during budget and contract negotiations.

The Bad: Of all the pet projects funded in the budget, Gov. Brown's high-speed rail might be the most egregious. Under scrutiny by the courts and Congress, the project is facing serious funding problems, a myriad of legal and environmental challenges, and declining public support. Yet its many demerits didn't stop the legislature from earmarking $250 million of current cap-and-trade revenues, and 25% of future cap-and-trade funds to the project. While the funds allotted to the rail are substantial, they won't come close to covering its $67 to $100 billion price-tag. Worse, the appropriation is an affront to the intent of the cap-and-trade program, which aims to reduce California's carbon footprint by 2020. 2020 will predate the completion of the high-speed rail; that is if it manages to be built at all. This will likely lead to additional legal challenges.

The Ugly: The ugliest feature is not what is in the budget, but how the budget came to be. It was largely written, negotiated, and debated in back-rooms, without input from the budget conference committee's two Republicans, state Senator Jim Nielsen and state Assemblyman Jeff Gorell. At times, and in a budgeting process that was anything but transparent, Nielsen and Gorell only had a few hours to review provisions before the committee voted on the items. As the San Francisco Chronicle's Melody Gutierrez put it, "Democratic lawmakers crafted a budget for their Democratic governor to sign."

And even when it was rushed to a floor session on Sunday to meet the constitutional deadline for passage so that legislators could continue collecting their paychecks, neither individual legislators, nor the press or the public had an opportunity to delve into the budget details before voting (truly a "we have to pass it to figure out what is in it" moment). Notably, the lack of transparency didn't just extend to the budget details, but also to the important policy provisions included in the budget trailer bills.

At $156 billion, the highest level of inflation adjusted spending in California history, many will find at least one thing to smile about with the budget. Still, progress made in 2014 doesn't alter the certain reality that the Golden State has serious fiscal problems; problems addressed this time around either superficially, or not at all. This is what happens when one-party controls the entire process.

http://www.realclearmarkets.co..._control_101131.html

California's budget is a house of cards built on a swamp above the San Andreas Fault. The stock market will eventually correct either slowly or very dramatically such that when the filthy rich get cleaned in the next downturn the state will suffer large shortfalls. Foreign investors might be flooding the markets now, but all things artificial are doomed to fail probably in a year or three.  Also I suspect that the next wave of illegals will deplete the freebie budget.

Hi all,

Brown was a clown the first time he and Linda Ronstadt were in office in their Hippie Hideaway!    And, all age has done is to make him an Older Clown, but without Linda.

Unfortunately, I have lived in California under the Young Hippie Jerry Brown -- and now under the Old Hippie Jerry Brown.  Age has not helped him at all.

Contendah praises him only because he would disagree with me if he were standing in the middle of a downpour and I said, "It is raining!"   My Friend, Contendah, would be screaming, "I am thirsty, King Obama!  Give me water!" What else can we expect from an Obama-loving Secular Liberal Socialist Democrat?

Bless his little Obama loving heart!

Of course that would never dawn on your narcissistic consciousness.

Contendah, my Friend,

When I share the Gospel -- I am fully aware that many people disagree with me.  But, that is to be expected.  After all, did not Jesus Christ tell us:

Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.  For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."

The question becomes, "Which path are YOU on when we are told to share His Gospel with all the world?"  If you need a refresher, take a look at Matthew 28:19-20, Act 1:8, and Mark 16:15.  Those are generally known as the Great Commission -- given by Christ to all believers.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

the reason Obama won't close the Border is that every one that comes across is a Democrat Vote, but he is too dumb to know that when they get enough over here to outvote the American People that they can take over local Government and Congress and then the whole thing, they already have two in Congress, and ya'll will all have to learn Spanish.

I am not saying right off but give them 30 Years, glad I won't be here. they are having Kids like Rabbits amd the American people can't afford but one because they have to pay for all the Entitlements Obama is giving the Mexicans.  Go ahead and call me Racist, I haven't got the knee jerk yet from being called that.
