Mommer,
Yes, it was one of my father's favorites. He used to work at Reynold's Metals and I can't count the number of times I watched my mother making those sandwiches for him to take with him when he worked the night shift. She had one of those little metal egg slicers and she'd slice up two eggs, one for each sandwich, and she'd give me and my sister the end slices of egg without much yellow in them since Daddy didn't like them.

TDB, my father worked for Reynolds Metals for 32 years until retirement. Our fathers may have known each other. Sorry to get off topic. Y'all carry on

TDP, I think they may have not known one another after your post. My father would have been 90 years old last April. H was a member of Local 200. I miss him very much. He died at age 86 and was a very wise old WWII veteran. I hope you still have your father!!
Good for you and your Father TDB, I know he can't wait for y'all to move back South!!!quote:Originally posted by TopDownBeemer:quote:Originally posted by Just_:

Sorry for your loss Just and yes, I still have my father. Daddy is still going strong. Thanks for asking.
Plumbian, I really like those too. How about banana and peanut butter all stirred together and spread on your fav bread. Looks kinda nasty, but tastes really good and it's healthy eating!!quote:Originally posted by plumbiam1:
OK I just remember one more I love pineapple rings on toast with mayo.
