This is what is happening in Oklahoma because some theocrats insisted on placing the 10 Commandments on the Statehouse grounds.  Satanists are demanding and in all likelihood will get equal space for their heathen idol. Constitutionally, they are entitled to that.  Had not a wingnut state legislator arranged for the 10 C's monument to be erected, this Satanic display would not have been possible,  The Okie theocrats asked for it and they are getting it.

I yam what I yam and that's all I yam--but it is enough!

"The 10 Commandment display all by itself is unconstitutional.  Seems as though the Satanists, instead of suing to have it removed, decided to put THEIR display on the grounds, consistent with the principle that the EXCLUSIVE occupancy of the 10 C's would be unconstitutional, but if other viewpoints are allowed to erect displays, there should be no legal impediment. Here is part of a discussion that deals with this:issue:

"The statue of the Baphomet, or Sabbatic Goat, a figure that has been used to represent Satan for centuries, is to be made of bronze, poured over a clay mold. Images provided to FoxNews.com show the hideous figure on a throne, with smiling children at each knee. Greaves' organization seeks to force Oklahoma to allow placement of their statue or demonstrate what it considers an unconstitutional double standard."

Okay, he seems to be Muslim, not Satanic. From Wiki:

Modern scholars such as Peter Partner and Malcolm Barber agree that the name of Baphomet was an Old French corruption of the name Muhammad, with the interpretation being that some of the Templars, through their long military occupation of the Outremer, had begun incorporating Islamic ideas into their belief system, and that this was seen and documented by the Inquisitors as heresy.
