I was Googling a name this morning and ended up finding an old Times Daily online. (Actually, Florence Times Tri-Cities Daily) This is the November 3, 1968 edition. KMart had boys' flannel shirts on sale for .79 (regular .97) Sears had a sale on foundation garments.

And I found a Q&A section with a question about Bradshaw and Coffee consolidating. Here's the link...The thing I'm talking about is on page 46 of the archive. I don't know how it will look if you are not using Google to view it. Let me know if y'all can see it. I am really enjoying looking at this old newspaper from when I was five years old!

I am replying to my own thread, which makes me a total geek.

At the A&P in Nov. 1968:

Oranges were .49/dozen
2lb bag carrots .19
baby food .10/jar
tuna .27/can
10lb dog chow $1.55

I understand there is a difference between 1968 dollars and 2010 dollars....it's just weird to think of actually getting something for a dime. And I saw some coupons in this paper....SEVEN CENTS OFF a box of cereal!
