In search of the Shoals area's best omelette. So far Homeside is in the lead in my own personal search but they are a bit inconsistent in quality. I'd say about 5 out of 7 have been excellent and two clinkers (greasy). The Marriott has a good omelette chef on their Sunday buffet. Staggs has a good omelette but not quite as good as Homeside. If anyone can suggest more places I can try I would be appreciative. By the way my omelette criteria are large, overstuffed, messy, and not greasy. I usually order a "sweep the kitchen" omelette.

I've got 20 million things to do.

How is the Marriott Sunday buffet?  Love 360 and Bronzeback, but never dined at their buffet.

I haven't eaten there in a couple of years but it used to be good. Layout was a little strange in that the serving area was tucked into a corner of the dining area and ended up causing congestion. Seems like it was about $15. I used to go around noon so that I could get a Bloody Mary.

Got an omelette at Cafe 72 in Clements this morning and it was surprisingly good. Not the best I've gotten around here but far from the worst.
