No problem for me. I just cut and paste the material I want to respond to and put it in bracketed quotes. That way, I often avoid including a lot of extraneous matter, i.e. content that I am not responding to. It makes for a more finely-focused post, and as all of you know, my posts are immaculately focused.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
