It's OK CB.

I think his intents are noble.

It would still help others.

I just don't have the time to go through ALL of these , and find out what they are worth.

I'm swamped with MORE...stuff.

How are you still on this site?  You remind me of a child that will run into a room and yell just to interrupt adults.

CB has delusions of adequacy.

I suspect the items mentioned have collectors value,  If so, the charities might buy many more toys for the kids,

The Max Planck statement is a scientific history question -- one must be fairly knowledgeable and intelligent to answer the question.

If they are collectors items, the appraisal and sale at their value will generate more benefit for the beneficiaries than if you just handed them out piecemeal.

I don't do collectibles, but there used to be, and still may be, some places around town that would look the whole collection over and possibly make you an offer.

Off the subject a little , but several years ago, one or more of the shops at Colbert Fossil Plant took old bicycles throught the year, and would rebuild them and give to needy children in the area. I don't know if they kept that up or not, nor do I know if CFP is still running other than the Combustion Turbines.
