First, you have been a TimesDaily Forum member since 2010. And, second, please give me an example of my "caustic and mean sounding" comments; also, where I have been "less than gracious in welcoming you."
God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

One must be willing to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Written Word of God, if you are a Christian. Most of what I have seen my Roman Catholic Friends sharing on the Religion Forum and on Facebook -- is what comes from Catechisms and other Vatican sponsored or written books.
Roman Catholics look for a "nihil obstat" approval from a Roman Catholic censor and an "imprimatur" from a Roman Catholic bishop or higher to validate a book worth studying.
Personally, I look for a book stamped Holy Bible, Written Word of God -- to validate the book worth studying.
The first is produced from the minds of men. The latter was produced from the mind of God. Personally, I will go with God every time.
A real Christian would lay all those other books aside -- and share from the Bible. But, then, a real Christian sees the Bible as the sole authority from God for salvation and Christian living. We do not need to be force-fed from man-written books and commentaries; we share the Bible. And, we also know that Sola Scriptura is valid for a reason -- for God only gave us one book -- His Bible, 66 books written by chosen men under His inspiration, inerrant, and the literal Written Word of God. Yes, Sola Scriptura, God's Scripture alone.
My Friend, you speak of "living the Bible" -- yet, no one casts more aspersions, throws more mud, on the Religion Forum than you. No one expresses more hate on the forum than you. Yet, you speak of "living the Word." My Friend, living the Word does not mean attending mass every week, praying the Rosary to Mary every day, and worshiping idols daily.
No, living the Word means being willing to share His Word, to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world -- even when the world, all world religions, are throwing rocks at us for sharing His Gospel.
I have been doing Christian apologetic, edification, and encourgement writings for over 20 years, sharing His Word with the world.
What have you been doing -- besides praying to Mary and throwing rocks at anyone who knows enough to expose the erroneous teachings of the Roman Catholic church? No one throws more rocks and mud -- than you. Is that what you call being a good Roman Catholic?
God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Will I waste my time searching the archives to find such instances? No. But, if you would promise to never be nasty to me again when I do refute Roman Catholic doctrines -- then, I would apologize just to allow us to start fresh. Are you game?
I sincerely would like for us to be Friends. But, I will not say that false teachings are true -- just to gain that.

The most devout, and most misled, atheist -- very often will have all those attributes. But, he/she is most certainly not a Christian believer.
And, the more that atheists, secularists, agnostics, and other non-believers scream what a wonderful person a Christian is -- we have to wonder what has happened to that person's Christian witness. If all the anti-God crowd loves you -- are you really being a good witness for Christ to the lost?
How many folks who are guilty of a sin, or a crime, when confronted with that crime -- will thank you for confronting them? No, most will get angry and most likely even call you derogatory names.
So, the atheists, et al, are calling Bill Gray names -- and saying how wonderful is VP! What does that tell us? Just saying!
Luke
21:17, "And you will be hated by all because of My name."
John
15:18. "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you."
Notice that Jesus does not warn us that the world will LOVE us for His sake -- but, that the world will HATE us because of His name.
VP, if all the atheists, secularists, agnostics, et al, are loving you -- what does that tell you?
God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,
Bill

Once again, my question to you is -- when all the atheists, secularists, agnostics, and other non-believers all shout how wonderful you are -- are you sure you have been truly sharing the Word of God with them? Even Jesus Christ was not liked by all. But, then, He was not trying to be liked by all.
Or, have you been looking for the secular world's approval? Seeking the approval of the world -- is not what Jesus Christ meant when He said that believers should be His witnesses in all the world.
To me, you seem to be playing the "Feel Good" card -- make all the non-believers feel good about you and your Christian faith -- so that they will cheer for you. My Friend, I sincerely think you should rethink that position.
God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,
Bill

If Richard Dawkins were on this Religion Forum -- do you think he would cheer louder if VP spit on Bill Gray -- or if VP spit on the Bible? The only time he would want her to spit on Bill Gray is when Bill Gray is defending God and the Bible. And, I believe our local non-believers fit into the same mold.

So there you have it Billie... No one could agree that those comments are from a true Christian... Certainly not a gentlman... You owe Veep one HUGE apology! I for one will continue to remind you of this obligation... I'm very patient.... You can run, and hide, and duck, and evade forever... But in the end, Billie, I'll always be there to remind you...
