No! You don't say! We would have never guessed, Sarah Big Grin

Apparently someone didn't share with Sarah the memo about McCain losing the election. Now, she wasn't charming enough to win as VP yet she thinks she can win the presidency? And does she not realize that to run for president you must actually need some intelligence?

Oh, but I so want her to run!

Please, please, please, please run! I can't wait for the comedy that comes from the 'gotcha' moments, like when people ask you tough questions like, "What magazines and newspapers do you read?"

And the debates! I can't wait for the debates! Bwahahahaha!

Then, after all that fun we get to watch Obama easily win a second term....he won't even have to put out effort for a campaign to win against her.

Let's see, you quit your job as governor to go make cash by selling books (and whatever else would make a buck), so I'm afraid you won't make enough cash as POTUS, dear. You'll just quit halfway through the job (due to the heat in the kitchen) and go make more money on books about your difficult two years in office.

Run, Sarah, run!

On a serious note, one has to wonder if family is really that important to her, considering she's still got three young children to take care of - including a demanding Downs child. There's absolutely no possibility to give her children, especially the Downs baby, the attention they need and juggle the demands of POTUS.

But, then again, her lack of attention to her kids is how Bristol got knocked up right under her nose. She obviously just uses her kids for political gain. Sad.
You have gone off the deep end butter. Snide remarks for the woman and her family is uncalled for.

No one would tell a man he can't run because of family needs. I thought you were a first class women's libber. So we can't have a Queen of England or an Indira Gandhi because they have families?

Now you are acting like a true liberal with BDS and PDS.

Congrats.

No, I'm just acting more like you right-wingers. Somehow snide remarks are okay for y'all but no one else?

And what I'm saying is true. Young kids need mom. Of course, dad can take care of the day-to-day needs, but you and I both know no one takes the place of mom for certain things. When the kids are older, fine, run and lose then.

I know you guys worship this woman, but she's an idiot. The idea of Sarah Palin as president scares me! I mean the woman claims "living near Russia" passes for foreign policy experience. Are you kidding me?

Fundraiser for the Republicans, okay. President, never!!!
1. I don't worship any one but God.
2. Sarah loves her family.
3. There are many fathers who are the stay at home with the kids.
4. The governor of Alaska has special briefings on security because 'you can see Russia from there, which means it's the closest point of attack into the US!
5. Obama as president with no business experience, no executive experience, no work experience, scares the crap out of me daily.
Palins kids are out there cause she put them there, and they are now fair game. Watching Bristol stumble around on stage, yet remain in contention is just the Tea Party version of affirmative action.

The whole family got into the act on Facebook, too. I guess they dont know that the interweb goes everywhere, and people are watching their every move.

More HYPOCRITICAL BS from the queen of denial. What if the name NANCY PELOSI was interchanged with Sarah Palin, just how outraged would you be(or have you been) over PERSONAL attacks.
Once again, Ronnie P, and b50m, POT MEET KETTLE! You have the nerve to call these lame remarks "attacks" on Sarah Palin, look at your comrade Cage/Jobe header calling Nancy Pelosi a "dingbat" and both of you have posted much worse. Didn't matter much that she was a woman when you were calling her every name you could think of (or heard from Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh). H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E-S

Palin resigned as governor because of about 25 accusations, proven false, that cost the state millions, her family hundreds of thousands, and tied up her time as governor and that of her staff. Leftists lied to destroy her. They know no bounds when in full cry.

As to debates, I suggest you view the Palin/Biden debate. She cleaned his clock. Of course, in Biden's case, that's not hard.
Oh please, JUST LET SARAH RUN!!!!!!!!!!! And elintor, I have already posted the timeline which proves your statement false about resigning due to the charges, most were dismissed before she ever resigned. But if you follow this line of thinking, she would be right in line with the other Republican president if she were elected who resigned before impeachment. What party was the president a member of who stuck it out and didn't cave in and quit? Oh yes, Bill Clinton of the Democratic Party. That is the new battle cry for the republiteacons: YES WE QUIT!!!!!
Short memories for sure. How about all the disgraceful references about Bush when he was our setting President? What about all the statements that people wish he would be assassinated? What about the hypothetical movie where they assassinate Bush? Hillary said that we should have the right to criticize the President, it was protected under our freedoms. Guess that only applies when it's a Republican in office?

As for bringing in Sarah's kids well you can blame those set out to destroy her when she was announced as McCain's VP choice. She had positive numbers and likability so the media and Democratic party set out to destroy her regardless of who they had to bring into it. Her handicapped child or her pregnant daughter. No man running for office ever had to endure that.

Want to talk about intelligence or experience? What about Obama? Jr. Senator who's only job resume, before his two years elected as the Jr. Senator of Illinois was the Community organizer. What books did he read? Who knows he never got any difficult questions about anything. The media never cared to challenge him on anything they just set out to squelch any negative information or questions even if that meant deception of failure to follow up on any potential story that could turn negative. We have a president who never had to answer for his lack of experience yet because Sarah failed to name a library list of books she was reading it is okay to crucify her?

Give ME a break. Our current President is an embarrassment and lost without his teleprompter or a good speech writer. What do you think would have happened if it was Bush that made the statement about the US consisting of 57 states? Obama did it but the media didn't care about that. Sarah can't name a few magazines and it's a Capital offense. Obama states that he set in a obviously biased Church and yet he never heard a sermon or what was actually said or preached? No questioning of that just blind acceptance.

Between Sarah and Obama I'd choose Sarah anytime and sleep soundly about it.

As far as I'm concerned Obama is the least qualified person to be President and if we, and the US survives his Presidency then we'll be extremely lucky. Why do you think the Republicans won so big in this last election? OBAMA and the Democrats drunken rage pushing unwanted bills through without votes and against the will of most of the American people. Fear that our Countries freedoms were at risk.

I say Run Sarah Run and any other Republican or Tea party candidate. Anyone but Obama for he, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are DANGEROUS to freedom.

So, if she can't handle the accusations as governor, how is she going to handle the scrutiny as president?

And Biden took it easy on her because he didn't want to come off as sexist. It was a political strategy; Biden was smart enough not to turn off independent-leaning females.

Because of Alaskan law, unlike most other states, each accusation had to be investigated and defended. Public officials can't sue for false accusations. Again, it tied up state government and costs it millions. Alaska has a very small state government. You argument doesn't translate to the presidential level. Obviously, you don't understand the problem. And, are winging it with more attacks.
Buttercup didn't make snide remarks, just manufactured outrage by b50m. Buttercup stated to paraphrase she had a child with downs syndrome and another who was an unwed teenage mother and questioned Palin's responsibility as a parent. But, in true propoganda style as you right wing radicals have been programmed by your media overlords, Fox and friends, you take any opportunity to twist and spin any valid criticism into SMEARS and SNIDE REMARKS, unless they are made by Rush Limbaugh about a democrat!

Timelines have nothing to do with it. The damage was cumulative and would have continued if she stayed in office. The accusations were proven false and could not cause an impeachment. You raised a red herring to cover your lack of further logical effort.

El, I don't agree with you on much, but I do respect you. I know you're a very smart man, much smarter than I, so I ask you, honestly, do you really, really, think Palin's got what it takes to be president? And don't give me the Barack-Obama-didn't-have-experience-either jazz, because two wrongs don't make a right.

Very good question there Rocky. I think this link sheds a lot of light on your statement.

CLICK THIS LINK to hear about what REALLY HAPPENED!

The Left always is looking for things on Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Fox News, or Sean Hannity because they are effective and they are popular and they hare successful at what they do. Being right doesn't matter anymore it seems though if something if you can't cite something truthful then make up something and run with that.

How does the Left react to things like this? How about propagate the lie and encourage others to do so.

Click here to see the left's recommendation

If Rush had of said it and meant it then it was wrong and would have been but no worse than passing along LIES as if they were true just to denigrate another person that they disagree with.

Any comment on this Rocky? Should we continue to make statements, like you have about Limbaugh?

Rocky, Did you actually hear Limbaugh say this or are you repeating something you have heard?

OK, I'll go along. Can you find ANYWHERE that Rush Limbaugh has denied the meaning or apologized for the segment which aired? You have posted Sean Hannity Fox spin. If this wasn't what Rush Limbaugh meant where is HIS correction and apology???????????????????
The left and the right have fun poking at each other and taking shots at each other's politicians and potential leaders. One difference though and it becomes apparent the more you listen.

When you listen to the far left folks and folks like Ed Shultz, Al Frankin, Air America personalities ( when Air America was in business ) you notice one major difference between them and the far Right folks like Newt, Rush, Sean, Glen, Sarah, etc. The folks on the left are ANGRY!. I mean you can sense legitimate hatred and anger in their voices and words. At times, when you heard talk about President Bush and Dick Cheney when they were in office, talk about Rush Limbaugh or Sarah Palin or FOX News you hear words that come from people seemingly possessed by hate. Statements like they wish these folks had died or were the ones killed. Statements about people made in anger from people that seem possessed by anger or some kind of revenge derangement as if someone had done something personally against them.

Just my observation from listening to folks like Ed Shultz and Keith Olbermann some of the commentators that appear on MSNBC. Both sides, at times, use disinformation and make use of stereotypes but the left seems to be so angry and possessed when they do so.

Why is that?

Well I don't always listen to Rush (although I do try to at times and I do believe that many that criticize him don't listen to see if what they have heard is true or not. I don't like some of his blovating but a lot of what he says is factual and true but he is Conservative totally and slanted that way. I can't say I've heard him apologize but if you had read the link I had placed above you would have read (which I think answers your question).

Rush has always maintained the incident was an accident.

On his show four days later, Rush offered an explanation to his audience. First, the show played, “Who’s sorry now” in the background and Limbaugh pointed to himself. Then he said: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m sorry . Let me tell you very quickly what happened last Friday night. There was a new in list and new out list that was published in the newspaper. The writer said in, cute kid in the White House; out, cute dog in the White House. Could we show the cute dog in the White House who’s out, and they put up a picture of Chelsea Clinton back in the crew. And many of you people think that we did it on purpose to make a cheap comment on her appearance. And I’m terribly sorry. I don’t–look, that takes no talent whatsoever and I have a lot of talent. I don’t need to get laughs by commenting on people’s looks, especially a young child who’s done nothing wrong. I mean, she can’t control the way she looks. And we really–we do not–we do not do that on this kind of show. So put a picture up of her now and so we can square this. They then showed the picture of Chelsea Clinton. She had a displeased look on her face, as if to show that she was not too happy with the mistake. Rush continued:

All right. We’re sorry. We didn’t intend to hurt her feelings . We’ll be back with our final segment right after this. Don’t go away.

This apology offers considerable insight into what happened. Rush indicates that he had asked to see the “cute dog”. That is not what happened on the show, but is probably what had been planned–which explains why Rush has it backward. If Rush was supposed to ask to see the “cute dog” first, that would explain why the technician put up the picture. They had it cued first. In addition, if they had the pictures cued according to the names “Chelsea” and “Millie,” it is even easier to see how a mistake could have happened. Both are female names and like most of America at the time, the technician probably did not know Chelsea by name. As for Franken’s question of why, if it was an accident, Rush did not fix the problem, the actual context again has the answer. Rush corrected the initial error right away and apologized several times– thereby fixing the problem. There was no need to go back and re-tape a different sequence of events. Mistakes that don’t violate FCC regulations are routinely left in TV talk shows, most notably late-night shows like Jay Leno or Conan O’Brien or Rush Limbaugh’s show.

Besides, Rush gave us his reasoning in 1990 after an embarrassing incident had occurred when he was hosting a show for Pat Sajak.

Rush said, Since I as a broadcaster on radio and now on television believe in behaving in an honest fashion, not faking anything and allowing whatever happens to happen, uh, you saw what happened… Many other shows would have attempted to keep you from seeing what happened in this studio tonight. It happened; we don’t hide behind it… It is worth noting that, interestingly, there was an incident– in 1993– where Rush did discuss Chelsea Clinton’s appearance.

Here’s what he said: You know, she’s [Hillary Clinton] got an interview out in Redbook magazine that just came out this week. And in it she says that she thinks it’s very childish of shows like “Saturday Night Live” to make fun of Chelsea. And I agree. I mean, I don’t think you should take shots at a little kid, especially the way a little kid looks and… Well, they do it on “Saturday Night Live” and they’re really mean and vicious about it. And I think that it’s worth pointing out that the liberals who run “Saturday Night Live” are the ones doing that. They always say that people like me make fun of the way people look, and we haven’t done that; and-and so she [Hillary] talks about that… (Rush Limbaugh TV Show, February 12, 1993)

I guess this will be the best answer I could give you to your last question.

NOT SO FAST. And I won't put this in red because it makes it hard to read and is very annoying on a whole post, IS RUSH LIMBAUGH'S SHOW TAPED? I know the answer and so do you but put your spin on it all you want. And REALLY reread the garbage you have posted as a rebuttal gbrk. This is classic smart ass Rush Limbaugh. If this was not intentional on a taped show it could have been edited before airing. I don't know where you got this "information" you didn't provide a source, but if this is what Rush Limbaugh calls an apology for remarks about a 13 year old girl, NOTHING that has been said about ANY of the Palin kids compare. And David Letterman at least had 2 daughters to choose from when he made his remark and Sarah twisted it to mean the younger one. SPIN SPIN SPIN SPIN SPIN! That is all the hell you rethugliteacons are good for.

Sad.

I'm not attacking, el. Like the saying goes: I call it like I see it....and apparently I'm not the only one.

El, I don't agree with you on much, but I do respect you. I know you're a very smart man, much smarter than I, so I ask you, honestly, do you really, really, think Palin's got what it takes to be president? And don't give me the Barack Obama didn't have experience either jazz, because two wrongs don't make a right.

I didn't bring up Obama's lack of experience, as it had nothing to do with the present thread. Obviously, the lack is now glaringly obvious, as he's had his head and other body parts handed to him by other world leaders during his last few outings.

You didn't answer the question.

If, you mean this question: "I'm not attacking, el. Like the saying goes: I call it like I see it....and apparently I'm not the only one"

My statement on Alaskan law answered it. I assume, as its different for Presidents, she would do what they all do -- answer the important accusations and ignore the rest. Such accusations would not tie up US government activities like they do in Alaska.

Okay Rocky changed the color to Blue but realize that there is so much of it because I copied and pasted from http://lyingliar.com/ page 17.

It wasn't my material for, as I said, I don't listen enough to know for sure but the author documents his statements and Rush did apologize for what happened but fact was that he didn't call her a dog as you imply as if he said it directly.

It's also bad to pass along incorrect information as if it's legit for the purpose of making a person look bad. Is this not what you are doing by making a statement about Rush that you never directly heard but making it dogmatically as if you heard it yourself?

As I said IF Rush said it and didn't apologize for it then He's wrong and it's wrong. Wrong as what those that are doing it about Palin's family are doing. Wrong as calling many honest, patriotic Americans "Tea Baggers". WRONG as passing along false information or statements as true.

If he did say it then your fair to ask about it but if he didn't and you persist in carrying on as if he did then you are no better than that you are attempting to accuse him of.
