As a many generations and present subscriber to the paper,  I am recommending that the Times Daily monetize their webpage and forum.   Subscribers should be allowed access to the site and forum.  If non subscribers want to read the paper online or participate in the forum they should subscribe to either the paper or digital.

The paper is probably not worth the print subscription anymore, but at least stop giving the paper away to non subscribers and eventually blame your low quality on losing money because of it.  There is a price point where print subscribers will not subsidize the web presence.

thank you

Maybe next, you could suggest that the Huntsville channels start charging us to get their over the air news as well. Neither would be worth the cost of a cup of coffee .

I have lived in 5 states and in 8 media markets and have never encountered any other  local channels whose "news" reporting was as poor as that of the Huntsville Big Three.

It seems to me that the Huntsville TV stations still believe in the Flat Earth theory. They think the world drops off into the abyss just West of Athens .

On the other hand, the local paper is of the opinion that that drop off happens at the Ms state line.
