Get a grip. Another year of this manure to concern ourselves about.
You like Hillary, vote for her, same with Obama or whoever else you percieve worthy, but please, please let's act like adults, reasonable ones if possible.
Anyone, yes anyone, that can raise and spend hundreds of millions of $$$$ for a $250,000 a year job is not, NOT, an honest person, period. Doesn't make any difference who they are or to which party they belong, they do not have our best interests at heart. Think about it.
well, I agree, except I like Richardson and Chuck Hagle, and they are in DIFFERENT parties.
In a capitalistic society, it seems impossible to find a way to invest the money necessary for the debate without having the debators (candidates) come up with it.
If you own the newspaper, radio or Television Station, Magazine or Postal Service, you have to be paid for the advertising. It is alleged by ALL campaign donars that the money is to be spent on advertising, and travel expenses in connection with getting elected. When I give a dollar or two to the Red Cross, I expect them to spend it on relief efforts, I should have the same expectation of Political Candidates.
I have a problem with campaign financing, and I have a problem with putting control over the money in the hands of anyone besides the candidates or the political parties.
Kindred Spirit,
It does seem early for the campaign for the November 2008 election to be underway, but the Primaries come in about a year from today, the General election in 21 months. And there is a lot of campaign money to be raised.
Quarries,
Yep, lots of hot air and bushwha coming at us. It seems to never end. If you are bored by it, you are in the majority. I find it vital to know what Obama Says, and What Hillary Says, and What Hagel says, and What Richardson says, and some of what they say, they are desperate for me and you to hear. So desperate that they will pay to have their words presented to us with money they begged from someone.
