When Old Dog Trey is gone, he is gone forever. Rover, when he is dead, is dead all over. Same goes for Garfield.
Same goes for you and me, and all other life.

Vic, my Friend,
For a long time you have jumped up and down, declaring yourself to be a Roman Catholic. And, you now say, "If there's a God. . ."
Has the Roman Catholic church changed its position -- and now questions if God exists? Or, have your changed your mind and do not claim to be a Roman Catholic any longer?
One of the two has to be true -- for if the Roman Catholic church still believes in God -- and YOU do not -- how can you be a Roman Catholic?
And, Jennifer Best, your declaration that after this life, after death, there is nothing -- would truly be sad if it were true. But, fortunately, it is not true. This brief life we live in the mortal flesh is just a warm-up for eternal life.
This life and that is it - in comparison to eternal life -- rather like saying, "I will live for just one moment, one second, and then I will be annihilated, nothing, poof." Would you choose to accept one second versus an eternity? That is what you are doing as long as you deny God.
Even if you are 100% absolutely sure (and you would still be wrong) that there is no eternal life -- are you really willing to take that gamble?
If what you say, there is no eternal life, is true -- and you lived a Godly life -- what have you lost?
Yet, if what you say is wrong and there is an eternal life -- are you willing to lose it just to be stubborn?
Personally, I am not that big a gambler. Even if I were not sure (which I am) that God is real, I would still volunteer for His team -- JUST IN CASE.
As I said, it would truly be sad if this short tribulation-filed life is all there is to look forward to experiencing.
God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,
Bill
There you have it folks. Bill DHL™ is relying on Paschal's Wager to get into heaven.
Of course it has long been obvious that he has no working relationship with God.
Nothing new here.
In a post directed to "Crusty, my friend", Bill Gray wrote:
"You just keep wearing your cow dung perfume.
Bless your stinky little heart!"
If THAT is how Bill addresses his "friends," one shudders to think what kind of endearments he would direct to his enemies.
Bill DHL™ only considers me his "Christian friend". That is fundamentalist double talk which translates to "I hate your guts, but I still get to preach at you".
Everything he posts comes from his theology of Jesus Loves Me, But Hates Your Guts.
Very sad if you think about it. Bill Gray has to be a miserable human being.
Even sadder, you know he makes everyone around him miserable. No wonder they won't speak English in front of him.
No palomino for you, Bill Gray. In the unlikely event that you barely squeak through the Pearly Gates and get a horse there, it will likely resemble tone of these:
Hey, I guess the resident troll has dropped "the cabal..." ... Now he's into calling everyone atheists...
Don't ya' just luv it when the uninformed idiot troll visits us?
Not!!!!

Does this mean an eventual progression to "Atheist Cabal"?
Couple of observations, seems like bill would stay off my threads if atheists upset him so much, and too, since he ripped off this thread, why is he still posting here? I have him blocked, and anything I might see that he posts, when someone puts it in their reply, is irrelevant and I couldn't care less. It's just the SS DD with him.

Looks familiar.
Hi Bud,
Yes, it does look familiar. The Forum Mods have warned my Friend (I will leave it to you folks to decide which Friend) to stop posting his personal photo on the Forum. But, he just insists.
Bless his little heart!
Bill
Does he run around the Florence area?
I'm sure Bill DHL™ recognizes him from the park.

Not from looking at his face. Their face's is probably the last thing old Billy looks at.
