Now that's funny.

Finally, Jan Brewer seems like an awful governor (and that has nothing to do with her immigration stance), so I fail to see the benefit in rallying behind her.

So the more governors that stand up the better.

Brewer, as far as I can tell, is an extremely sub-par governor who just happens to have taken up a neocon-populist cause.

B50, after seeing several of her interviews, I don't see how anyone could have any respect for her at all. She truly thought that Alaska's proximity to Russia made her an expert on foreign policy. She couldn't think on her feet quickly enough to name even ONE magazine. Even during the debate, there were questions that she flat out refused to answer because she hadn't been coached on them. And that reveals the truth - after the interviews, she was not ALLOWED to speak about anything she hadn't been coached on because even her "handlers" knew that she would come off looking, well, shall we say, "uninformed".
It is not her politics I object to, although I DID vote for Obama. BUT!!! I would have voted for ANYONE else who didn't have Palin on their ticket. I'm sorry, but she just isn't very bright.

Well, I was going to leave this alone because I really don't care. But, since it can't be argued with, I will.
First, it's not a matter of "cajones," it's a matter of politics. Silly comments about "cajones" are only further trying to politicize it. Second, Jan Brewer is not "looking out for all Americans." While I support Arizona's right to set their own policy, I also realize that it has little impact on the rest of the country - good or bad. Finally, Jan Brewer seems like an awful governor (and that has nothing to do with her immigration stance), so I fail to see the benefit in rallying behind her.

It's hilarious. Palin is talking about illegal Mexican immigrants, and she uses a Spanish word to denegrate our president. She makes a SEXIST remark, and expects everyone to just grin and agree with her. If someone had said, for example, "she shouldn't get her panties in a bunch" over it she would be having another hissy fit. She DOES prove, every time she opens her mouth, what a low IQ, low CLASS, ignorant little nothing she is.

What? Can people note understand issues without some folksy catch phrase? Is that what the Republican Party is telling us?
She was trying to get a soundbite.

I didn't mean to imply that the 10th Amendment is a neocon-populist cause. Brewer's stance on immigration is. I guess there's a net benefit to Arizona making a stand in favor of the 10th Amendment. I just don't think Brewer is doing it on principle.

Sorry Ferrelj, but my IQ is 160, I am decidedly MIDDLE class, and because I listen to/read many news sources, I consider myself well informed.
Not only that, but I can respond to a persons post without insulting him!

Define "worked." Yes, it accomplished gaining a soundbite. It did not, however, add anything germane to the debate over Arizona's immigration policy. So I ask again, is this what the Republican Party is trying to accomplish? Have winks and unclever one-liners replaced ideas?

No Ferrillj, I never said my IQ made me better than anyone else, just defending myself from your previous personal insult.
However, my common sense IQ tells me that electing a dim bulb like Palin to any office higher than den mother is a bad idea.

Seriously, how is that praise worthy? Do you realize how subsidized that tiny town is on a per capita basis? I thought Republicans were supposed to be the ones opposed to wasteful spending. Or, is that just when poor people get the money?
