Here is a link to rasmussen that shows Rudy leading Hillary by 95 points. The interesting thing is that Rudy on leads Edwards by 2% points which is essentially a toss-up. However, among democrat supporters Hillary is ahead of Edwards by 17% points. This just doesn't seem right. I know they are just polls but is it possibly the fact that the independent voters are not willing to hand the reins over to a woman or the fact that they are not loyal Bill Clinton fans. Just wondering if any democrats out there might have any input as to this phenomenon?

Maybe you would have more cross over republicans vote for Edwards and more democrats cross over not to vote for Clinton. There are still a lot of "good ole boys" in the democratic party that don't want a woman president, and enough "southerners" in the Republican party that don't want a "Yankee" Ex-NY city Mayor to be the president.

My 2 cents.
