Psychic Who Said Amanda Berry Was Dead Silent After Berry Is

Found Alive

By

May 7, 2013

A year after Amanda Berry disappeared in Cleveland, her mother appeared on "The Montel Williams Show" to speak to a psychic about what happened to her daughter.

Psychic Sylvia Browne, who has made a career of televised psychic readings, told Louwanna Miller on a 2004 episode of the show that her daughter was dead, causing Miller to break down in tears on the show's set.

"She's not alive, honey," Browne told Miller on the show, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper. "Your daughter's not the kind who wouldn't call."

Miller told the newspaper that she believed "98 percent" in what Browne told her. Miller died a year later from heart failure.

On Monday, Berry was found alive after she broke free from a home in Cleveland where she says she has been kept for the past decade.

Browne did not return phone calls seeking comment today by ABC News. The Montel Williams show, through syndicator CBS, also did not return calls for comment. The show no longer airs new episodes.

Why would anybody believe Sylvia, democrat, Browne about anything.

Or blowhards who rant about Amish heaters!

___

As much as you dote on those heaters, you must have been among the dupes who shelled out hundreds of dollars for one. Fortunately, I was never taken in by their obviously bogus claims.  Have you tried to get your money back?

Neither the Amish nor anyone else who participates in a lying scam that cheats honest and trusting  people have any claim to respect simply because, as capitalists, they profit by doing so. The true "American way" does not include the flim-flam community of snake oil salesmen like the Suarez company that markets the "Amish heater" and other scam products.

Wonder how that is a liberal argument.  Liberal practices like the consumer protection agency is exactly what stops unfair business practices and from people being taken advantage of under false pretenses.   Another baseless claim made without any proof.   Batting 1.000 Best!

You have achieved a new height of absurdity.  By your reckoning, it is necessary to buy a scam product before discovering that it is indeed a scam.  Ever heard of doing your own research?  Ever think about consulting authoritative sources, such as Consumer Reports, which reviewed the Amish heater and gave it the lowest rating? I never subscribed to any "liberal's argument" that I  should have no concern for victims of scams.  Your claim that liberals entertain such a philosophy is totally without merit.  Absurdity piled on absurdity, Bestworking.  You are self-destructing more every day.

Oh but contendah, two of the biggest libs on here stated that if it isn't my money it shouldn't be my concern. So you think doing research gives you the right to condemn the product? How about saying you didn't like what you read instead of puffing yourself up as an authority on the heaters?  BTW, you don't impress me, so save the "self destructing" and other stupid comments you make in a futile attempt to "save face".

True, but the product is a gyp and the mantles do not do anything to diminish that.  The Suarez Corporation, which markets the things, is well-known for its misleading advertising.  The apparent strategy is to associate their product with the reputation of the Amish.  The functional part of the heaters comes from China, or from the "coast of China," as the advertisements say, as if that made any difference. Buy  a 1500-watt heater at Walmart, Lowe's or Home Depot for 40 or 50 dollars or less and get the same heating benefit as the overpriced "Amish" heater.

"[T]wo of the biggest libs" do not dictate what I think, so your comment is irrelevant, following a pattern you have set for yourself.  Do a little research yourself on the various heater scams afoot in this country and get yourself educated on the subject.  I don't have to be an "authority" to be an educated consumer.  Like many others, I rely on authorities like Consumer Reports to provide useful analyses of the performance of consumer products.  It is just good business to get informed on such matters before separating yourself from your hard-earned money.
