The Cloverdale Road location is not the only location of the Ranch House there is also one in Town Creek and a few others I have heard. I'm wondering if anyone has tried it yet and if so how it was? The times that I have been by it has been crowded and seems to be doing well. I hope it does.

I've driven by it, but I never saw any cattle there.
drove pass yesterday and quite a crowd I saw.... It was after typical lunch time.
Check the chicken very closely and eat at your own risk
Chicken, in my opinion, needs to always be cooked throughly through with no pink at all. Is that what you mean or could you elaborate on that statement?
Chicken showed no pink, but not cooked on inside. Changing from cooked on outside to not cooked inside not noticed until too late.
Smoked chicken will have a pinkish tint on the inside and will be perfectly well done. Cooked in other was not so!
I have not eaten there, but I have not heard good things. A close friend of mine ate there Tuesday night, and did not have a good experience. He and another friend went around 6:30 pm. There were only about 8 customers in the restaurant. They waited about 15 mins before anyone waited on them. One had the country fried steak, which was "okay". They were already out of some of their vegetables. The other had an 8oz sirloin, which about 3oz was gristle. They didn't even ask him how he wanted the sirloin cooked when they took his order. He said they had 3 waitresses at different times during their meal. They were not impressed & will not go back.
Maybe someone can let us know if this was an off night.
Haven't tried a lot of different things,but Pork chops are really good.Grilled or Cajun grilled,or fried they are tasty. Veggies are also very good.Chocolate pie needs help IMO.Owners are very friendly I would like to see them stay.

sucks because i live down the street from the ranch house and the burgers/fries were pretty good and cheap. the hush puppies were a joke!
I had eaten there a couple of times, both on Sunday. The food and service were all good. Don't know why they closed.
Homeside just down the road from Ranchhouse also has good food.
