Looks like President Bush has been far less than truthful about many things but revealed recently is the statements about the Syrian Chemical attacks as reason for or justification for our involvement into Syria.
Where are those that lambasted Bush and railed so against Bush stating that he lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction as a reason or justification for going into Iraq? Are they just as critical at President Obama? If not why?

I can give Obama a pass on this. It seems that all departments of our government are polarized politically, so what information a president receives is dependent upon the biases that the faction briefing the president has. It should be noted that UN observers had been reporting WMD use by the al-Qaeda affiliated insurgents in the months prior to Obama's line-in-the-sand speech. It might be of note to mention the fact that the area that some Israeli intelligence people say was the final stop for Saddam Hussein's WMD might have come under rebel control. There could be yet another "Damm Bush" speech.

It is one thing to misidentify, intentionally or otherwise, who might or might not be in possession of chemical weapons, those weapons having been confirmed without doubt to EXIST. It is something altogether different to flatly state (as per Dork Cheney) that such weapons do in fact exist and to use that misinformation as a basis for instigating a huge, costly, and wasteful war. Instead of plunging this nation into another Iraq-like conflict, the Obama administration has negotiated an agreement for destruction of the chemical weapons in Syria, an intelligent course of action that avoids deaths and crippling injuries to American troops that surely would have occurred had we sent in "boots on the ground" to get after those very real WMDs.
$5 says the chemical weapons in Syria CAME FROM Iraq. It is well known that Iraqi military convoys were observed crossing from Iraq into Syria just prior to the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Guys, remember the author of the article was Seymour Hersh. There might be some truth in there but it would be a pin in a haystack of lies and conspiracy theories.

Taking as fact that Obama lied on purpose from this source would be the same as being one of the "Bush Lied" morons. The "Intelligence" agencies are screwed up enough, they don't need any enhancement.
