Republican Political Mafia and Federal Law
By Stephen Crockett

There is nothing as corrupt as using the governmental powers of law enforcement, to selectively prosecute your political enemies and to cover-up criminal behavior by your political organization and allies, while in a position of political power. This situation is the essence of the current scandal concerning the firing of US Attorneys by the Bush White House.

He's now on the oversite committee for Homeland Security....thanks to Pelosi.

You are referring to the same politician that took NG troops away from search and rescue missions after Katrina to rescue his household goods from damage and looters.

Amazing...not amusing. No, it's not off subject when you consider absolutely no charges are forthcoming due to the dismissal of the 8 US attorneys. The only "investigation" there is the witch hunt the liberals are on.

But when somebody brings up a liberal democrat who has $90,000 of unexplained money in his freezer, while he's under investigation by the Justice Department and the House Ethics Committee for bribery...well, that must be "off subject"....no doubt.

The prosecutors who were fired were all Republican. They claim that the reason for their firing was that they either did not prosecute administration foes agressively enough or prosecuted administration friends TOO agressively. They also alledge that some members of congress called them "leaning on them" to do the bidding of the party. That is ILLEGAL. Sorry - you are ignoring the obvious for partisan cheerleading. Remember the fired prosecutors are REPUBLICAN.

Barney Frank was NOT convicted for a sex crime.

So being convicted of running a homosexual prostitution ring is not a sexual offense? Last time I checked prostitution was a sexual crime.

Barney Frank WAS NOT "convicted of any such crime". I looked it up. Keep trying. Simply saying something does not make it true. LOL.....the Republicans have their homosexuals as well. See Mary Cheney, Jim Kolbe, David Drier etc. That is not a crime.
Just goes to show that liberals will always ignore the facts.

Did I ever deny that there are Homosexual Republicans?

So you won't accpet that Franks is a criiminal. Then I want to see you deny that Alcee L. Hastings D-FL is a criminal.

Barney Frank WAS NOT convicted of a sex crime. If you beleave so - prove it. I have looked it up and read several articles on the subject. There is no recorded conviction of Frank. AGAIN - convicted felons can not serve in Congress. End of story. I know its hard to take- but you are just wrong. Its not that "I won't accept that Frank is a criminal" - hes not. That IS a fact. I urge you to look it up - again, simply saying something does not make it true.

Alcee Hastings has been impeached and convicted by Congress for bibery and is currently serving. Deny that fact. You have been proven wrong.

Ted Kennedy has covered up his murder of a woman and is still serving.

Keep telling yourself the lies.

Lol.......this is too funny. We were discussing Barney Frank, not Hastings or Kennedy. Neither were "convicted". Again - one can not serve in either chamber if they have been convicted of a crime. LOOK IT UP and stop making it up.

I am still waiting for you to actually post smoething intelligent.

Air - The only thing you have even come close to proving was your suggestion about Alcee Hastings. He was impeached, and convicted by a Senate committee - not the whole Senate. He has never been convicted by a Civil or Federal court. I suggest you do your homework a little better. Frank was NOT convicted, neither was Kennedy. Look it up, be a big boy and accept the fact that you have been proven wrong. Anyone can look this information up. It only hurts your cause to continue childishly making statements that can be easily proven wrong. Talk about posting "something intelligent" - geezzzzz.........

Look up the law, impeachment for a felony offense, i.e.- Bribery, is still a conviction. This was upheld by the US Supreme Court. Quit twisting the truth.
Ed, mean- I would suggest that arguing with someone who does not accept facts, and makes up acqusations as they go along, is fruitless.
As I have said before, people who throw around "liberal" as if it were a bad term have listened to Rush . and O'Riley tooooo long.
Any true American citizen should know that in our system of laws , one is "innocient until proven guilty". Throwing around accusations without proven guilt, or sometimes even without any proof, is just the standard operating procedure, and because a lot of people don't seem to care enough about our countryto check things out, they buy into these lies. Maybe thats how we got to the place we are now.

Nope - Hastings WAS NOT convicted in any State or Federal court. Sorry. The Supreme Court upheld his conviction by a Senate Committee.

And by the way, Jesus did not give his life to save mine - he gave his life to save my SOUL. The military offers to die for my protection.
Since you have no understanding of how the legal system works, let me explain it to you.

A Federal Judge can only be removed by impeachment or being moved up in the heirarchy of the US Court system. Hastings was impeached by Congress and convicted. It doesn't require the full Senate to convict in the case of a federal judge. The US Supreme Court ruled that the US Courts do not have any say in the matters of Congress, therefore his conviction was upheld and is guilty of a felony.
