These folks got cured of their dispensational premillennialist (i.e. triburapturist) delusions.  Their DVD can provide rehabilitaiton for others!

 <<<Late Great Planet Church
“It is my conviction that many who are presently disposed toward Dispensationalism would not be victims of the system if they were better acquainted and informed about the system and its history – its theological roots and the doctrinal errors it has spawned.” – The Late Ernest Reisinger, Pastor Emeritus, Grace Baptist Church, Coral Springs, FL

Many Christians today read their Bibles through the lens of pop-prophecy books like The Late Great Planet Earth and the Left Behind series. They naively believe the prophetic schemes and theological presuppositions expressed in these and other fictional writings represent the doctrinal positions that Christians down through the centuries have embraced. However, that is far from the truth.

Volume One of The Late Great Planet Church: The Rise of Dispensationalism is the first documentary of its kind. It exposes this erroneous system of thought as breaking continuity with history — and even the very Word of God. In this first volume we will examine the beginnings, beliefs, and motivations of this innovative movement by focusing on its relatively recent development, stormy history and its most influential proponents.>>>

Hosted by Jerry Johnson, President of www.NiceneCouncil.com, this documentary features pastors, theologians, and historians, who at one time were strongly committed dispensationalists. Several of these men even trained at dispensational academic institutions before abandoning the system. They have since rejected this system as thoroughly unbiblical, viewing it as a stumbling block to the Church and a distraction from the Great Commission.

Hi Head,

Not sure how that web site and its ministry fits into your legalist theology.  The people who run that web site are Reform Calvinists and they teach Replacement Theology, i.e., that the Christian church replaced Israel as the people of God.

This group believe in Amillennialism, i.e., that there will be no Rapture, no Millennial Kingdom of Christ, and effectively, no real Tribulation.   Their teaching is that we are living in the Millennium now (even though it has been two millennia since Christ was crucified and resurrected).  Their belief is that the time we are living in right now is the Millennium, the Church Age, and the Tribulation -- all happening in parallel.

Their Reform Calvinism, their Replacement Theology, and their Amillennialism -- all cannot be supported by the Bible.  But, my Friend, if this is the group you want to cast your lot with, God bless you.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

What you call "replacement theology" is well supported by scripture, Bill.

Romans 9:

Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

I do not by any means subscribe to all the tenets of "ReformCalvinists," but it is not necessary to throw in altogether with Calvinism in order to find some elements of this group's belief  that square with scripture.  I do not accuse you of casting your lot with Calvinists on the basis of your OSAS belief, which is, as you know, a core element of Calvinism.

I certainly do agree with these particular Calvinists in their rejection of the Darbyite-Scofieldian fantasy that you cast your lot with.
