I was glad to see that the crowd at the Rice Box was still as large if not larger. Even since their opening up of the extra building you still see times when they have a wait to be seated. The Alabama health score is kept up there now, form what I've seen, and the quality of the food is still the same (excellent). Glad to see that they are still doing great because the owners are very nice and dedicated people and you like to see those efforts rewarded.

At what point on this forum do post like the above become advertising? I realize people should be able to express their opinion, but how do we know the poster is not the owner or close friend with the owners? Just curious about the rules here. BTW, it is good to see Seven Points shopping center appears to be doing well overall.
paw-paw, if you read and post here often enough, it's easy to figure that out. It will be a one post wonder who sings the praises of only one eatery. gbrk is just someone who enjoys trying out local eateries, and reports on many of them.

I'm also glad to see the Rice Box is doing well, I enjoy eating there. I have a couple of out-of-town friends that insist on eating there when they visit. Good stuff.

I can understand your point (also) however I am not only not related to the owners I am not related to or know any of the owners or people who are employed there.

I'm also not a fan of Chinese food (just not my favorite) but when I do go for Chinese it's either the Rice Box or the restaurant in the Mall's Food area. I just know a lot of places have a hard time keeping up the quality and I was glad to see that apparently their quality is not only holding up but they have been able to expand and hire more folks in this economy. I too am also very glad to see the shopping complex at 7 Points doing so good. I'm also glad that Wok and Roll is still in business.
First off, let me say that i LOVE Rice Box's food. I have eaten there frequently and will continue to enjoy their great sushi! But, does anyone else slip and slide around the floor like it has been mopped with Crisco? I fear for my life every time I step foot n the place. If their Rainbow Rolls weren't so darn good, I wouldn't risk life and limb. Smiler
