This story has really broken my heart. I kept hoping and praying they would find her alive even if she was scratched up or in bad shape. But it didn't look promising at all.

To hear of such a young woman and mother the same age as me having her life cut so short in such a tragic way by her future family is just mind-blowing.

But I am bothered most by the motive.

If the father-in-law or mother-in-law were afraid she was going to take the grandchild away, how is murdering the mother going to solve that problem?

Correct me if I am wrong, but it's pretty difficult to fight for custody of a child when the mother is dead and YOU were the one who did it.

And people cannot honestly believe that you will get away with murder in 2010 with DNA testing. Not to mention, all of the many murderers that get caught on a daily basis even with airtight defense.

I am holding out hope that the mother-in-law was as others have suggested - manipulated and living in total fear that she didn't kill her daughter-in-law but did what her husband said just to not get killed herself.

It won't bring Rose back to life, but it will prove that at least one person involved isn't a completely cold and callous killer.

If they seriously murdered this girl over child custody and issues with visiting the child, then they are THE 2010 winner's of a Darwin Award.

And I am feeling for the fiance right now. He has to raise a child alone. I don't sense that he knew anything about what was going to take place, so I will keep hoping that he is devastated over this and wasn't also helping cover it up.

People do not have common sense.

They may not be saying, but going by that picture in the paper yesterday, the wife may have told them exactly where to look.
I'm holding out hope that the wife isn't involved.

If you're referring to the same picture I saw, her back was to the camera. How could you tell by that picture that she told anyone anything?
My guess would be that she was involved & is just as guilty as her husband.
