Rush accused George Soros of supplying "foreign money" to NPR and many other non-Right groups, yet Soros is a US citizen. And, Rushs co-conspirator media outlet, FoxNewsCorp, is foreign owned, controlled and led by a non-citizen. In his drug-addled mind, it must have made sense, and he is under the illusion that people will believe anything he says.

Wrong, I'm anti-Republican, not pro-Democrat. Attacking Dems is no fun as they want to debate, while the Reps just want to argue and try to insult their oppositions intelligence, while trying to maintain their condescending attitude.

Soros is a US citizen, but like most of the Democatick rich, his money is mostly in overseas tax shelter countries.

George Soros is known as the wealthiest speculator of all time. His trading all took place in the Netherlands Antilles, where his earnings compounded tax free. If you think he has this advantage only because of his wealth read on.

Today, investing arenas are without borders. Investors may reside in Chicago or Kuala Lumpur, but geographic locales no longer need be a deterrent to investing globally. Offshore or non-US investments allow for more rigid controls on privacy. Privacy in an age of big brother is crucial to many investors. The US government along with numerous other over regulated industrialized societies have continued to threaten individual investor's privacy rights. Offshore funds are inherently private, a big selling point for global investors.

Is that wrong??? That is capitalism. .

For instance:
Google Inc. cut its taxes by $3.1 billion in the last three years using a technique that moves most of its foreign profits through Ireland and the Netherlands to Bermuda.

Google’s income shifting -- involving strategies known to lawyers as the “Double Irish” and the “Dutch Sandwich” -- helped reduce its overseas tax rate to 2.4 percent, the lowest of the top five U.S. technology companies by market capitalization, according to regulatory filings in six countries.

Want to put up some proof of that?

BTW, don't use the Saudi prince. That is a dead story.

quote:
In 1997, Time Magazine reported that bin Talal owned about 5% of News Corporation,[6] Rupert Murdoch's company which is now the parent company of Fox News. By 2010 Alwaleed's stake in News Corp. was about 7% stake at worth $3 Billion noted the 2010 News Corp. $70 million (9%) investment in Al-Waleed's Rotana Group, the Arab World's largest entertainment company. The review also referred to the Al-Waleed investment AOL in the past tense.[7]
Maybe he's doing his homework.

As for the topic, News Corp and Fox News are not the same thing. News Corp owns Fox News as well as over a hundred other entities. In many countries. It is a global corporation.
