Sad News for Deshler and the Community

According to today's paper he took his own life. He must have been in incredible mental pain although the article reports he was in an ok mood from what people who'd interacted with him said. I hope he is at peace now.

Channel 19 said a family friend & attorney said it wasn't clear if Linville’s death was intentional or an accident. He said they are looking into the possibility he may have been getting a long gun out of his truck, & it may have fired & hit him in the chest. Is it possible to pick up a loaded "long gun", hold it pointing at your chest & it accidentally fire?

If he had life insurance, it won't pay if a death is ruled a suicide. Hopefully, for the family's sake, if it was suicide, it will be kept quiet & won't be ruled as such. Very sad for the family.
