Seth McFarland, creator of Family Guy, responded to the latest "outrage" manufactured by Sob Sister Sarah Palin on last nights edition of Real Time with Bill Maher.
Manufactured outrage, indeed. This scene shows only a somewhat overly assertive and rude young woman who - taken from the drawing and voice - I'm supposed to understand as having Down Syndrome.
She's...uhhhh... on a DATE! She's apparently so used to life in the outside world that she has rigid rules for social gestures and conduct. She's apparently confident enough to be a tad *****y to her date. And this is insulting to people with Down Syndrome...how?
Does Palin have a problem with envisioning her son in standard social situations and even being aggressive enough to be controlling them?
Oh...yeah...of course she would. He's a prop. I keep forgetting that part.
