And his foot. And he is too chickenshi* to show his face on camera. That is the man who the teabaggers are trying to spin and defend. Maybe some of the more rational women out there who were leaning toward the "Mama Grizzly" movement will come to their senses seeing the violence against women that is perpetuated and defended by the tea party.

Stomping incident suspect speaks out

A Rand Paul supporter is being ordered to appear in court to face an assault charge after he was caught on camera stomping on a liberal activist.

NEWSFIRST talked with the two men at the center of the whole ordeal. The man who is accused of stomping on the woman has been identified as Tim Profitt a former volunteer with Mr. Paul's U.S. Senate campaign. The other man, Mike Pezzano, wrestled the activist to the ground after she tried to confront the Tea Party candidate.

On the same day the Paul campaign ran a full page newspaper ad displaying supporters' names, the group moved fast to disassociate itself from one of those names, Tim Profitt. When we spoke to Profitt, he asked that his face not appear on camera, but he wanted to defend himself. "She's a professional at what she does," Profitt said, referring to the MoveOn.org activist, "and I think when all the facts come out, I think people will see that she was the one that initiated the whole thing."

The woman, 23-year-old Lauren Valle from Washington D.C., appeared to be following a specific set of instructions detailed on MoveOn.org's website designed to attract media attention. Profitt claims he believed Paul was in danger from the woman and that he acted to protect the candidate, but the campaign has condemned Profitt's actions. "I put my foot on her, and I did push her down at the very end, and I told her to stay down," Proffitt said, "I actually put my foot on her to... I couldn't bend over because I have issues with my back."

Lexington Police began an assault investigation identifying Profitt as a suspect. "Well I'll just say it, if the police had done what they were supposed to do, it would have never happened," Profitt said.

The Paul campaign is not alone in its reaction. Another man involved in the altercation, Mike Pezzano, who held down Ms. Valle, tells NEWSFIRST he doesn't condone Profitt's actions. Valle has said she believes Paul supporters planned an attack on her. Pezzano asked not to appear on camera for an interview, but he denies that accusation and says he barely knows Profitt and didn't even know Profitt was there. As for Profitt, he remains defiant. "I don't think it's that big of a deal," Profitt said.

And when asked if he would apologize to Valle. "I would like for her to apologize to me to be honest with you," Profitt said.

If you see the before, she attacked Rand Paul's car and tried to hit him with her 'award'. She was pushed back by some security man. Then the crowd scene, then if you find a longer video that shows the end of that, a police officer is standing talking to her after she was helped up and is telling her she needs to just leave.

WOW you talk about a stretch. EekerThe girl was holding a sign up to the window, nowhere on the video does she come close to swinging anything and IMMEDIATELY was attacked by the "security team" if you want to call the thugs that, that had been heard saying in advance, they might need to take somebody out because they KNEW what she was there for and were trying to intimidate her. It is AMAZING the lengths teabaggers and especially WOMEN teabaggers like the ONE on this forum who are trying to defend this are going and don't realize this is turning voters off to your tea party. I am sick for the young lady being assaulted but the one bright spot is it shows the teabaggers for the hypocrites, bullies and cowards THEY ARE!
Rocky, let me ask you a question and see if I can get an honest answer. Suppose I show up at an Obama rally in some sort of disguise with a wig. Now let's say I approach Obama with a fake sign, what do you think would happen to me? I'm not defending what happened but it would have been much worse if the above scenario had happened. The bottom line is don't go around looking for trouble, or trying to create it. As far as your obsession with conservative women you need to lay off.
Ferrellj, do you really think anyone that posts on this forum is going to change their mind about voting? (No name calling) You teabaggers just can't stand anyone who challange your Fox News propoganda postings. But there are PLENTY of people, especially young people here in Florence, who read this and HAVE been swayed from the rightwing after seeing what is posted by the teabaggers LIKE YOU on this forum. Read some of the first posts I ever made on here back in Feb. when I joined: You really helped the cause! Thanks ferrellj!!!!

Notice how rocky says "no name calling" and the very next sentence he calls people teabaggers.
That's the democrat party for you.

Rocky is trying all the failed tricks of the left from months ago. Rocky is the best thing we have going for us, thanks rocky.

You’re right, rocky helps the right wing with his/her/it insane post and hurts his own party. Keep it up rocky.

I remember when you first started posting. Everyone laughed at you then like they are now. You warned us that there were many more like you ready to take on the "teabaggers". They never showed up, where are they rocky?
I'll grant you that ferrellj, few people: if they don't goose step with Glenn Beck, are willing to post on this forum BECAUSE of people like you and the rest of the teabag crowd. But folks do read this. If you will recall, how I came to this forum was because of conversations in my political science class and one of the students (a young girl by the way) read hateful and meanspirited posts from probably you and some of your fellow rightwingers had made about a post she put on here supporting healthcare reform. The poor girl was very embarrassed and the whole class really got outraged when the personal attacks and hateful rhetoric started being read. I recognized you local teabaggers were bullys and cowards then but only in print , now your brethren in Kentucky have taken it to the next level. So you and your kind can keep "laughing" all you want. What goes around has already come around. I have posted a lot of funny You Tube videos just to see if you actually had a sense of humor. Usually just goes right over your head. There are days these teabagger posts are more entertaining than Comedy Central to those who haven't been indoctrinated by Fox News or warped under Dick Armey and the rebranded Christian Coalition.

UCLA student study

I suppose the Post deserves credit for publishing this story, but why did it take so long. Here’s the big, breaking news:

A new analysis of political signs displayed at a tea party rally in Washington last month reveals that the vast majority of activists expressed narrow concerns about the government’s economic and spending policies and steered clear of the racially charged anti-Obama messages that have helped define some media coverage of such events.

Emily Ekins, a graduate student at UCLA, conducted the survey at the 9/12 Taxpayer March on Washington last month by scouring the crowd, row by row and hour by hour, and taking a picture of every sign she passed…Ekins’s analysis showed that only about a quarter of all signs reflected direct anger with Obama. Only 5 percent of the total mentioned the president’s race or religion, and slightly more than 1 percent questioned his American citizenship.

Ekins’s conclusion is not that the racially charged messages are unimportant but that media coverage of tea party rallies over the past year have focused so heavily on the more controversial signs that it has contributed to the perception that such content dominates the tea party movement more than it actually does.

This isn’t the first study to find what most of already know to be true. Last October a liberal polling group run by James Carville found that racism was not a motivating factor in the Tea Party.

But by that time the smear had been well established by the left. Every paper in the country was on a first name basis with the SPLC and their research about resurgent militias. The Soros funded bloggers and their allies threw everything they had at the Tea Parties, from individual signs to studies of “ethnocentrism.” And of course it all peaked on the day ObamaCare became law with the infamous phantom N-word claims on Capitol Hill. We’re all still waiting for a media investigation of why Rep. Carson changed his story after the video appeared contradicting his first version of history.

The gross over-coverage of a few bad actors is no accident. This was the left’s game plan almost from day one and they’ve never quite wanted to let the fact get in the way of something that was working for them.

Now show us the signs the libbies held up. One I remember said, "Bomb "there" house. Kill Bush, bomb his f____g house". Yes, they spelled it "there". That's just one. I also remember the cry to drag them out of their houses and kill them. Then you dems wonder why the country is so fed up with you.
In 1995, on the syndicated political television program Inside Washington, guests including Totenberg turned to a proposal by the North Carolina senator that Congress reduce spending on AIDS research. Totenberg said, "I think he ought to be worried about the — about what's going on in the good Lord's mind, because if there's retributive justice, he'll get AIDS from a transfusion or one of his grandchildren will get it." (Video clip here.)

He also hasn't paid any attention to the fact that a lot of the links DID NOT COME from Fox news.

And fwiw, Fox Nation and Fox News are not the same thing. Nation is a blog site.
That would be like saying the TD forums are part of their news.
