I think there are places like the North Alabama Shooting Assoc., Cedar hill Trap Range, Muscle Shoals Skeet and Trap Club, WMA ranges in Colbert and Limestone Counties, and I think a few other places as well. I think I remember stories about a new indoor range or two in the area and an outdoor range north of Florence.

Thanks!

Two of these seem suitable, and close enough to be affordable.

I've seen them interviewed on WAFF a couple of times.  Neat accent.

Don't know if Larry's West at Greenbrier has opened an indoor yet but the other one does.  Never used it though.  Indoor ranges are noisy and make me the hell nervous.

I'm a member at Down Range Shooting Facility.  It's about 6 miles north of Underwood/Petersville.  Covered firing line with concrete floor and shooting benches.  Owners is Michael Mcgee and he is accepting new members at present.  You can find them on facebook.  Currently has an established 50 and 100 yard berm and they are working on a 270 yard berm presently.

You're welcome! I think on the N.A.S.A. buttbook page, they show an open house:
