I haven't been to Slaughterhouse but I have been to Sloss Furnace and it is pretty awesome. Since it is actually at an old Steel Mill the atmosphere is uber cool. I have heard that Slaughterhouse is nothing like it used to be. So, there is my two cents. I would definitely choose Sloss.
About how long does it take to go through Sloss? We liked graystone but its really a quick $15.....So hoping sloss or slaughter is a lot longer.
Sloss takes a while but I can't remember. The whole experience from the time you pay until you leave is worth the admission, though.
I haven't been to the Sloss, but my friends who have really loved it. Tell us what you decide and how it went.
Don't rule out Graystone Manor here in Killen. I would love to know who has gone through both and get your feedback on both haunts. There is also Atrox Factory in Leeds. We have tried real hard this year to make Graystone a great haunted house.
Jackson1972 I am sorry you felt it was too quick I hope you did enjoy yourself though, that is what we are striving for, to give everyone an enjoyable entertainment experience.

I love haunted houses - all of these sound like fun to me!
I did enjoy Graystone; but after paying for 5 kids at $15 each it was to fast. I will keep all posted after the weekend on how Sloss goes. For all those who havent went to Graystone it is great; just a little high if you have more than 2 kids to pay for. I take my kids and my nephews.
We didnt get to go to Sloss or Slaughterhouse this weekend.
I went to Sloss for 5 years running and it was spectacular, however, last year it was a very large disappointment. Atrox in Leeds is an excellent haunt along with the Devil's Dungeon in Nashville. Fair warning, if you choose to go to Devil's Dungeon it is not for the young or faint of heart, DD qualifies as an "extreme" haunted house and has scenes that will offend some folks. Slaughterhouse is not what it was back in the 90's. If you prefer more "real" haunts go to the Bell Witch cave, they offer nightly tours by kerosene lantern during the halloween season. Happy Haunting.
